What To Do After Insanity

What To Do After Insanity

If you have completed the 60 day Insanity Workout program, and are now asking yourself what to do after Insanity, let me congratulate you! You have accomplished something amazing and deserve some major praise! If you’re in the midst of your Insanity Workout program or are just starting out and are curious about what to do after Insanity, then listen up! One thing is for sure; make sure you give yourself a recovery week before moving onto your next program. Rest and recovery periods are just as important to fitness as the workouts themselves so be sure to factor rest into your choice of what to do after Insanity.

What to do After Insanity for Women

Alright, I figured I’d be a gentlemen :-) and start with giving the ladies some options on programs you can do to help you maintain your post-Insanity results.

[unordered_list style=”arrow”]
  • TurboFire: Let Chalene Johnson put you through your paces with fast & furious workouts that can last from 15 to 55 minutes and make you really enjoy your workout as you sweat to the beat of popular music favorites. This program features stretching and toning as well as some High Intensity Interval Training workouts. Staying limber and toned is a great way to follow up the Insanity Workout program and is one idea of what to do after Insanity. This program focuses on cardio that helps you burn up to 9x the fat and calories burned by typical cardio programs.
  • ChaLEAN Extreme:Step up and take your fitness goals to the next level! What to do after Insanity all depends on your goals for your long term fitness and well-being, and resistance training programs like ChaLEAN Extreme can help you build and condition muscle that will keep you going strong. BURN to rev up your metabolism, PUSH yourself to new heights, and LEAN into the last step of the program while you watch the fat melt away! If there was any fat left on you after Insanity, it will soon be gone.[/unordered_list]

What to do After Insanity for Men

p90x pull ups

P90X Reverse Grip Chin-Ups

We’ve covered some excellent ways for women to keep their Insanity results while taking themselves to the next level, and now it’s time to share some ideas for the dudes to do. You’re likely wondering what to do after Insanity that can help you refine your newly discovered physique and take that crucial next step in fitness.
[unordered_list style=”arrow”]

  • P90X: The difference between P90X vs Insanity comes from the approaches used in the two programs; one is resistance with a little added cardio and the other is more focused on cardio with some resistance mixed in. Now I’ll admit I’m a bit biased toward P90X after having been working with the program since January 2010 and repeating it for almost a year before I tried Insanity for the first time. P90X is a great program because it follows the 6 days on, 1 day off (Rest/stretch) that you’ve already been using with Insanity. You also get the opportunity to workout with the man himself, Tony Horton!
    [/unordered_list]

Insane for Insanity? What to do after Insanity

If you just can’t get enough of Insanity and can’t see yourself without it, then rest assured, your wishes have been heard! It seems that there are plenty of people out there who love the Insanity program and want to know what to do after Insanity to keep their workouts intense without getting burnt out on repetition.

  • Insanity The Asylum: Inspired by moves used to train pro athletes, this program lasts for 30 days and is truly tailored to those among us who are ready to dig deeper and go the distance. Get ready and train as though every day is game day! This program builds on the Insanity workout program and works to increase your stamina, speed, and balance with workouts lasting from 25 to 60 minutes each and a 15 minute bonus workout for an added boost to any day’s activities.

What to do After Insanity No Matter What, Don’t Forget The Recovery Week!

No matter what you decide to do after completing 60 days of Insanity, make sure to give yourself a week of rest and recovery before starting a new program. Now I’m not saying to just flop down on the couch and not move for two weeks because those 2 weeks could lead to 3 weeks, and those 3 weeks could lead to 4 weeks, etc. Before you know it, you’ve lost the results you’ve worked so hard for. During your recovery week you can either do the recovery week workouts that are in Insanity, or you can do your own workouts (go jogging, do some light resistance workouts, go rock climbing, just do something that is somewhat light & easy).

Still Not Sure What to do After Insanity?

Then leave a comment below and let me know! I’d be glad to help you figure out what to do after Insanity.

The Insanity Workout Schedule is one of the most intense and invigorating workout schedules I have personally experienced; it is certainly not for the faint of heart! Billed as one of the most intense workout programs Team Beachbody has ever put onto DVD, the Insanity Workout Schedule is focused on cardio in all of its glory. At 60 days long it might seem like something you would want to take on starting out to get back into fitness, but if you are a beginner in the workout world or have physical limitations like knee problems, you might be better off with another fitness program. And of course, any and all fitness training and workout programs should be discussed with your doctor before you get started; the goal is to get you in the best shape of your life, and being safe is a big part of that goal!

Insanity Workout ScheduleGetting Started With The Insanity Workout Schedule

I’ll bet you’re asking yourself what you need to get started on the Insanity Workout Schedule; do you need any equipment or can you complete the program using things you already have at home? Good news! With the Insanity Workout Schedule all you need is yourself in your living room in front of your TV with your Insanity DVD’s. With the Insanity fitness program you don’t need ANY equipment (with the exception of a yoga mat if you have hardwood floors). You don’t need a pull up bar, dumbbells or any other equipment like that. With the Insanity program you are using your body weight as the resistance which makes this a great program for people who travel a lot or who just don’t want to have to buy and store lots of heavy/bulky equipment.

What The Insanity Workout Schedule Is All About

To put it simply, the Insanity Workout Schedule is all about using cardio to burn fat and get as toned as you’ve ever been in your life. During some of the workouts in the Insanity program you can burn as many as 1,000 calories at a time; how’s that for insane? To start out the workouts are about 45 minutes long, and this part of the schedule goes on for the first 30 days before increasing to 55 and 60 minutes in the second month. Using the Insanity Workout Schedule takes the guesswork out of getting the most out of your cardio training program because everything is planned out for you and designed to get you the most effective results for the time you put in. The creator of the program, Shaun T, has put together something that can produce incredible results as long as you are prepared to dig deep and give it everything you’ve got.

Breaking it Down: The Insanity Workout Schedule Made Easy

As a part of the Insanity Workout program you will get access to 10 different workouts including:

  • A 30 minute fitness test at the start of the program to measure where you are before you begin
  • Power, Resistance, and Core training workouts that are structured to help you burn fat and condition your muscles
  • Recovery workouts designed to give your body the rest it needs to gear up for the next step in the program

Insanity Workout Calendar

Did you dog eat your Insanity workout calendar? Or are you just like me and you don’t  want to mess up your nice, clean, and beautiful Insanity workout calendar that you got from Team Beachbody? Well there is no need to guess at what Insanity workouts you have to do anymore or stress about destroying your pristine Insanity workout calendar. In this blog post I’ll give you free link so that you can download your own copy of the Insanity workout calendar PDF. I’ll also show you how you can get free support, motivation, and help as you go through the Insanity workout calendar (having the calendar is great, but if you don’t stick with it, then it’s pointless)!

The Basics On The Insanity Workout Calendar

The Insanity workout program is an extreme full body workout program that was created by Shaun T. It is 60 days long and is focused around quick cardio intensive moves to help increase your strength, speed, and endurance. My wife and I both went through all 60 days of the program and I can honestly say that it was literally the hardest cardio workouts that we’ve both ever done in our lives. When we re-took the Insanity fit test for the last time, we were shocked and amazed at the dramatic increase in our strength, speed and endurance in only 60 days.

During the first month of Insanity the workouts are around 45 minutes in length. Towards the end of that first month I really started to enjoy the workouts. Then month 2 arrived and it really felt like it was day 1 all over again since the workouts were harder and longer. The second month Insanity workout calendar workouts are about 50 to 60 minutes long.

This WILL be a huge challenge for you, but stick with your Insanity workouts no matter what! Commit to doing all 60 days of the program and giving 100% to both the workouts AND to following the nutrition guide. Make sure you create a free Team Beachbody account so that you can get free support and motivation by clicking here. By doing that you’ll be more likely to stick with following the Beachbody Insanity workout calendar so that you achieve the results you want…

Insanity Workout Calendar Hybrid With P90X

If you’re crazy like me :-) and want to do an even more extreme version of the program, then you may want to check out my hybrid of Insanity and P90X here – P90X Insanity Hybrid. I’ve got to warn you that this modified Insanity workout schedule is not for beginners and I highly, highly recommend that you complete a full round of Insanity and P90X separately before attempting a hybrid. I LOVE the resistance training within the P90X workout, but with time I found that the cardio got pretty easy for me. By combining the resistance workouts in P90X with the crazy intense cardio in Insanity, I get the best of both worlds!

Free Support With Insanity Workout Calendar

Insanity is an EXTREME fitness program and as such you really need extra support and motivation to help you get through the program. Again, I highly recommend that you create a free Team Beachbody account so that you get that extra support and motivation you’ll need to get through the program. You’ll get me as your personal success Coach as well as access to a ton of free and helpful tools to help you through the program. So take the 1 minute and forty seven seconds that it takes to create the free account and do it now here-

P90X vs InsanityThe debate between P90X vs Insanity continues! I constantly get questions from people asking me if P90X is better than Insanity (or vice versa), or just asking which fitness program is better for them. I try to explain to everyone that trying to compare P90X and Insanity is like comparing apples to bananas. They are two completely different workout programs, but I figured I’d still try to do my best and compare the two.

Unlike a lot of people who try to do a P90X vs Insanity comparison, I’ve have gone through BOTH workout programs. I’ve been doing P90X for over a year now, and I’ve gone through a full 60 days of Insanity. I’ll go ahead and start off with a simple P90X vs Insanity comparison chart, and then I’ll give you my opinion on P90X and Insanity. Regardless what program you decide to do, you need to do what’s best for YOU!

My Opinion – P90X vs Insanity

P90X – P90X vs Insanity

I started my fitness journey with P90X back in January 2010 and I’ve been doing it over a year now so I’ve got to admit I am a little biased towards P90X (see my results here – P90X Results). If someone were to put a gun to my head and ask me which program is my favorite in the P90X vs Insanity battle, then I’d definitely say P90X. They are two completely different programs though and I think they are both incredible workouts.

Some pros to P90X is that it’s a great all around workout that has some awesome resistance workouts as well as cardio workouts. There are also three versions of the program (Classic, Lean, Doubles) that really allow you to accomplish whatever goals you are trying to accomplish whether it be to lose weight, get toned, get ripped or to even add some size. I also really like the fitness trainer that does P90X, Tony Horton. He is a goofy guy that really makes the workouts fun.

I also just really enjoy the resistance exercises within P90X. During P90X you’ll be doing a lot of your classic pull ups, push ups, etc. A majority of these moves are very simple and straight forward to do so you’re not having to spend 30 minutes or more just learning how to do them properly. That means you can focus more on you form and reps to make sure you get the best possible workout.

Some cons to P90X is that the workouts are a little bit longer then Insanity. If you’re going to do P90X you really need to commit to the workouts and set aside enough time each day to do them. Also with P90X there is some equipment required which can make it tough to do the workouts if you travel a lot. Lastly, as I’ve progressed through P90X the cardio workouts (specifically Kenpo X) have gotten pretty easy. That’s where having P90X Plus and/or Insanity is a good thing because I’m not sure if those workouts will ever get easy! :-)

Insanity – P90X vs Insanity

I ended up doing the Insanity workout after several rounds of P90X. My weakness has always been cardio, so I figured Insanity was just what the doctor ordered. After 60 days of doing the Insanity workout, I’ve got to say that I was shocked as to how much my endurance and cardio strength improved. Cardio definitely isn’t my weakness anymore! Insanity is a full body workout just like P90X, however Insanity is obviously much more focused on cardio/jump training and you’re going to be doing a lot of very quick and intense moves.

Some pros to Insanity is that the workouts don’t require ANY equipment. That is a huge pro because you don’t have to store any bulky equipment in your living room or garage, and it makes the workouts really easy to stick with if you travel a lot. Also the workouts are shorter than P90X, and the overall length of the program is shorter. That makes it easier for most people to stick with the workouts and makes it easier for those doing the program to complete the entire 60 day routine.

Also, for you cardio lovers, Insanity will quite possibly be the hardest cardio workout program that you ever attempt. The Insanity workouts are pretty much designed so that only Superman and can through them without stopping, but that allows you to push yourself harder and harder each time you do them. I’ve heard from a lot of runners that you get a “runner’s high” after completing a long race (I’m not a big runner, but my wife is). After doing an Insanity workout and giving it my all, I’m so freakin exhausted, but I feel INCREDIBLE! I guess you could say I get an “Insanity high” after doing the workouts!

Some cons to Insanity is that it isn’t a program for beginners and if you’re trying to bulk up, this program isn’t for you. Since you are just using your body weight as the resistance, it’s going to be very unlikely if not impossible to bulk up with the workouts. The workouts are very, very intense so if you’re just getting back into fitness after years and years of not working out, then it isn’t recommended that you attempt Insanity.

It’s Time For YOU To Decide – P90X vs Insanity

It is now time for YOU to make a decision on whether you are going to do P90X or Insanity. The ultimate winner in the P90X vs Insanity battle is truly different for everyone. They are both incredible workouts that WILL give you extreme results if you stick with them. The most important thing is that you make a decision now and just do it!

If you are looking to lose weight, get toned, or to bulk up AND you have the time each day to commit to P90X, then you should order P90X and just do it. On the other hand, if you are a cardio lover, you’ve been consistently working out for at least a few months, and you possibly travel a lot, then Insanity is the program for you.

For those of you doing the Insanity workout, I wanted to put together this post so that you have access to a downloadable Insanity schedule and Insanity calendar. If you’re like me you like being able to post your Insanity schedule and your Insanity calendar somewhere that you’ll see it every day as well putting it in a binder to keep yourself organized when it comes to your fitness (or maybe that’s just me :-)).

Insanity CalendarBasic Overview Of The Insanity Schedule/ Insanity Calendar

The Insanity program is an ultra intense cardio based workout program that was created to help you get in incredible shape from home in 60 days. This program was created by Shaun T. You likely already know about the Insanity workout program (otherwise you wouldn’t be looking for the Insanity schedule), but if you don’t know much about it, then go to a recent blog post here where I go more in depth into the program- P90X Or Insanity.

My wife and I have been through a full 60 days of the Beachbody Insanity schedule and we both got incredible results. The workouts during the first month are around 45 minutes in length, and then the second month workouts are typically around 50 to 60 minutes. Honestly the workouts are some of the hardest cardio workouts I’ve EVER done in my life, but it was such an incredible feeling going through all 60 days on the Insanity schedule/ insanity calendar. It will be tough…but stick with your Insanity workout schedule no matter what!

I highly encourage you to have some type of support system as you go through the program. This could mean having a workout buddy, and or getting someone who has already done it to be there for you (like myself :-)). So at the very least, make sure you create a Free Team Beachbody account by clicking here. You’ll then automatically get me assigned as your personal Coach and I’ll help support and motivate you along your journey through the Insanity schedule (it’s 100% free; I’d just ask that you refer me to others who need help with their fitness and nutrition).

Does Insanity Workout Work? I get that question a lot so I figured I’d create a post to answer that very question. The very short and simple answer to that question, “Does Insanity workout work,” is yes, however (and that’s a big HOWEVER), it depends on the actions YOU take.

Does Insanity Workout Work

Does Insanity Workout Work

You see, Insanity is just a tool just like every other fitness program out there. It isn’t going to magically transform you into a super model or melt all of the fat on your body away. It takes work on your end to make that actually happen! The Insanity workout program is a system of workout routines that you MUST follow if you want to get the incredible results that you’ve heard about. It’s a tool to use to help you accomplish your health, fitness, and weight loss goals. With that in mind, let’s continue on with the Does Insanity workout work blog post…

Does Insanity Workout Work?
It Will NOT Work If…

You leave it in the box and never do it. Now this is pretty obvious, but unfortunately there are a lot of people who buy fitness program after fitness program and the DVD’s never see the light of day. Don’t be that person that just lets Insanity just sit in the box it came in to gather dust! Don’t buy it if you’re going to do this. Get your head straight and order Insanity with the understanding that you WILL do the program no matter what!

You don’t stick with it. Insanity won’t work if you do a couple weeks of it and then quit, or you do a day here and there. If you really want to accomplish your weight loss, health, and fitness goals with Insanity then you MUST STICK WITH IT no matter what! Go into the program with a goal of doing all 60 days of it.

Does Insanity Workout Work?
It WILL Work If…

You follow the Insanity workout calendar as it’s laid out and you give 100%. When you’re doing the Insanity workout program for the 1st time, make sure to follow the workout calendar as it’s laid out. That sounds like a no brainer, but some people will go into it and pick and chose what workouts DVD’s they do. The Insanity schedule was laid out that way for a reason, so follow it! :-) Once you finish all 60 days, then you can combine it with another workout program if you want.

Also, as you’ll hear Shaun T say a lot during Insanity, make sure to DIG DEEP during each and every workout. If you only give 50% effort to the workouts or give 100% one day, then 50% another day, etc. then you’re Insanity results will be the exact same way…very limited and not consistent. Give all of the workouts ALL you’ve got!

You follow the Nutrition Guide. Many people think that they can just do a workout program, eat the same junk they’ve been always eating, and get INCREDIBLE results with their fitness program. Sorry to break it to you, but eating right is 50% of the equation of getting fit and healthy. You may or may not see some positive results from doing Insanity while still eating the same junk. If you really want to see results, then follow the Insanity Nutrition Guide. That guide was put together by Nutrition Experts that know what they are doing! Since when did you become a nutrition expert? :-)

My Insanity Results – Does Insanity Workout Work?

So if you’re like me, then you like to see and hear real Insanity results from real people. Here’s a quick summary of my results after 60 days of craziness with Insanity-

  • Lost 1 inch in my waist
  • Lost 5 pounds
  • Lost half of inch around my hips.
  • GREATLY increased my endurance.
  • I got a six pack.
  • GREATLY increased the strength in my legs.

Insanity ResultsMy Insanity Results are in!!! It’s crazy to say this, but I just finished my FIRST round of Insanity! If you would have asked me about this time last year if I thought I would have ever attempt to even try this program, I would have laughed at you very loudly! :-) At that point I was just starting my first round of P90X, and that program alone seemed like a HUGE mountain to get over. Insanity was like the Mount Everest of fitness programs and is focused on my biggest weakness at that time, endurance and cardio. That’s why I’m so pumped up to tell you about my Insanity results.

First, before I jump into my Insanity results, let me give you an overview of this program in case you don’t know about it…

Insanity Results – What Is This Crazy “Insanity” Program All About?

Insanity is an intense total body conditioning fitness program that is designed to give you  “insane” insanity results in just 60 days. It is focused on cardio activities to build strength, speed, and endurance that will help you burn through tons and tons of calories to sculpt a lean, mean, ripped body! :-) Insanity has been billed as the most intense workout ever put on DVD so when I say intense, I mean INTENSE! During some of the workouts you’ll burn over 1,000 calories. With that kind of calorie burn, you know that the exercises have to be quick and that you will get crazy insanity results if you stick with it!

The fitness trainer who created this madness to make sure you get crazy insanity results is Shaun T. He based it on “years of study plus his collegiate track and field training.” The method that he employs in Insanity is called “Max Interval Training.” Typically in interval workouts, you are working out in short, high intensity intervals…Well Insanity basically flips it the other way around and you are doing maximum high intensity exercises with short periods of rest. It’s a method that works and will give you awesome insanity results!

One thing that I LOVE about Insanity is that the only equipment you use is your body weight. That means you don’t need to go out and buy equipment, you don’t have find a place in your home to store any equipment, and it makes it really easy to get your workouts done when you travel. My wife and I had to go out of town unexpectedly during our 2nd month of Insanity, and we just brought a laptop with us and we did our workouts in our hotel room.

So one other thing I did want to mention, is that Insanity is NOT a program for beginners. If you are debating between doing Insanity and P90X, check out this post where I talk about both programs- P90X Or Insanity.

Lastly, here’s a quick video that will let you see for yourself what Insanity is about and to help you imagine the Insanity results you can get-

Insanity Results – What Were My Goals I Was Trying To Accomplish?

I of course wanted to get some insane insanity results :-), but the biggest goal for me, is that I wanted to finish the program. As you know now, this is an extremely intense program that is focused on cardio. Cardio workouts have always been my weakness. I wanted a fitness program that would challenge that weakness head on and I figured Insanity would do the trick. So for me, just finishing Insanity would be a huge accomplishment. Also, prior to doing Insanity I did 2 rounds of P90X. After the 2 rounds of P90X, I was ripped and in the best shape of my life. After the 2nd round I didn’t commit to starting a program immediately…That was a MAJOR mistake! I ended up going a few months of not being on a program. I would do workouts here and there, but I honestly was not working out like I should. I took a step backwards, but I still was following a healthy eating plan so I didn’t go completely back to my old ways.

One day I ended up watching a video that I had made of myself doing some pull ups after my 2nd round of P90X (I was in the process of putting together my P90X transformation video), and I noticed how ripped that I had gotten. At that point, I knew that I had to commit to do another fitness program. So my second major “insanity results” goal was to get ripped and toned like I was after P90X. I wanted to get that six pack back!

Insanity Results – OK, Just Show Me Your Insanity Results!

Alright, so you want to find out my Insanity results!! Well here is an overview of my Insanity results after my first 60 days of madness with Shaun T-

  • Lost 1 inch in my waist (got back down to where I was at after P90X round 2).
  • Lost 5 pounds (again back down to where I was after P90X round 2).
  • Lost half of inch around my hips.
  • GREATLY increased my endurance.
  • I’ve got my six pack back. :-)
  • GREATLY increased the strength in my legs.

The true test of my endurance and strength will be when my wife and I re-take the Insanity Fit Test. We are doing that sometime today so that will give me an even better idea of my Insanity results. I’ll update this section once we’ve re-taken the fit test with my final Insanity results.

So here are my Insanity Results pictures! :-) I’m always somewhat embarrassed when posting pictures of myself here on my blog, but I hope they will inspire and motivate you to want to do Insanity so that you can get awesome Insanity results for yourself!

P90X or InsanityP90X or Insanity? That is a question I get a lot! People ask me if they should start with P90X or Insanity, or they ask if I like P90X or Insanity better. They both sound like easy questions, but they actually aren’t cut and dry questions. It depends on a number of things if you should start with P90X or Insanity, and it’s really hard to say which program I like better since they are two completely different programs. It’s kind of like comparing apples to bananas.

So I’m going to jump right into things and start with the first question…

Should I do P90X or Insanity?

First, let’s talk about Insanity…

If you are just getting back into fitness and it has been years since you’ve worked out (be honest about your fitness level) or you just aren’t in that great of shape, I will always say that you should start with P90X. Insanity is NOT for beginners! While it is an AWESOME fitness program, it is an ultra intense program that is focused on cardio and jump training to help with your endurance, strength, and speed (it’s GREAT for conditioning). During some of the workouts you’ll be burning over 1,000 calories! As you can imagine, to get that kind of calorie burn you’ll have to do some very intense and quick moves.

The awesome thing about Insanity is that you don’t need any equipment at all. You use your body weight as the resistance.  So as you may have figured out, if you are trying to add muscle mass, Insanity isn’t the program for you. Another thing that I like about Insanity is that it is 60 days in length (versus P90X which is 90 days). Once you get past the first week of the program, the days seem to fly by and before you know it you are finished the program.

To get a preview of what Insanity is all about check out this quick video-

So Insanity IS for you if-

You LOVE cardio, you are advanced when it comes to fitness, are looking to lose weight and/or looking to get cut and ripped.

Insanity IS NOT for you if-

You are a beginner when it comes to fitness, you have knee problems, and/or are trying to build muscle mass.

Next, let’s talk about P90X…

P90X is where it all begin for me. It’s the first Beachbody fitness program that I did and I got incredible results with it (check out my results here- P90X Results). P90X is a fitness program that is designed to get you into the best possible shape in 90 days. Despite P90X being an extreme fitness program, it’s a program that almost anyone is able to do. It comes with 3 different workout schedules that you can follow depending on your fitness level and what goals you are trying to accomplish.

P90X has a great mixture of resistance training and cardio. It is really a program for anyone, whether you are trying to lose weight, trying to get cut and ripped, trying to gain muscle mass, or just trying to get toned. What most people do and what I did, is I did P90X first, and now I am going to do a P90X Insanity hybrid. That is where I’ll be doing P90X, but I will be replacing the cardio workouts in P90X with Insanity workouts. That will help spice things up and will really give me the best of both worlds- the intense resistance training in P90X, and the ultra intense cardio workouts in Insanity.

To get a preview of what P90X is all about check out this quick video-

So P90X IS for you if-

You are looking to lose weight, get toned, get ripped and cut, or are looking to build muscle mass.

So do I Like P90X or Insanity better?

As I mentioned earlier and as you know now after reading through this post, they are two completely different programs so it’s really hard to say if I like one or the other better. Insanity is more focused on the cardio, and P90X leans towards the resistance training but does incorporate some good cardio workouts. I truly love BOTH programs and by combining the two programs (to create a P90X Insanity Hybrid) I will get the best of both worlds.

If you are still unsure if you should do P90X or Insanity first, I would say start with P90X. It’s a great full body workout program and you can’t go wrong with it. So go ahead and TAKE ACTION NOW! Order one of these incredible fitness programs now so that you can be on your way to getting into the best shape of your life-

Today is day 47 of the Insanity workout and I’ve finally set aside some time to post an update on my progress! It’s been an INCREDIBLE journey with Insanity. Did I say it’s been INCREDIBLE? Because it has! :-) Insanity has pushed me to the limits and right up to that edge which has allowed me to get great workouts. It has honestly been the hardest cardio that I’ve ever done in my life! During the workouts I get to breathing so hard and so deep (am I’m still talking about Insanity here?! :-) Just kidding…) that I HAVE to stop to take a second to catch my breath. I’ve never felt or experienced this kind of deep breathing before.

I made this video yesterday where I talk about how Insanity has gone so far, the difference between the regular workouts and the Max workouts, and what our plans are after my wife and I finish Insanity. Check it out and do me a favor and share this post if you’ve find it helpful-

My wife and I have been doing the Insanity workout now for the past 2 weeks, and I’ve done a bad job of updating my blog on our progress so sorry about that! We started Insanity on November 7th, 2010 and today is day 17 of our journey with the program! That means we are already halfway done month 1 of Insanity which is crazy to think!

I was honestly very nervous and scared going into this program. Insanity is focused around cardio, and jump training (similar to P90X Plyometrics), and I struggle with cardio activities so I knew this program would be a challenge (which is exactly what I wanted). Oh and this program has been billed as the toughest program that Beachbody has ever put on DVD so I think that would make anyone nervous! :-)

Despite us only being on week 3 of the program, I was extremely excited, and surprised by our results so far with the program! I made a video yesterday where I re-cap our Insanity results…Check it out!
