Totally understandable!</p><p>So, you ready for the answer? I&#8217;ll first give you the short answer, then I&#8217;ll break it down and explain it more in detail.</p><p><strong>When should you start seeing results with your fitness program (no matter what program you&#8217;re doing)?</strong></p><p>The answer is&#8230;<span id="more-290436"></span></p><p>I have no idea! :-)</p><p>Probably not the answer you&#8217;re looking for, but I really have no clue when you&#8217;ll see results. Why?</p><h2>The Long Explanation On When You&#8217;ll See Results&#8230;</h2><p>It depends on a number of factors which makes it impossible to say that you&#8217;ll get X results by X date. When YOU will get results depends on-</p><div class="shortcode-unorderedlist green-dot"></p><ul><li>Your nutrition</li><li>Your intensity level during the workouts</li><li>Your metabolism</li><li>Your body type</li><li>If you stick with ALL of the workouts or not</li><li>Any medical issues you have (that you know about/and that you don&#8217;t know about)</li><li>Etc. etc. etc.</li></ul><p></div><p>So do you now understand why I can&#8217;t tell you when you&#8217;ll see results with your fitness program? The timing on when the results come is different for everyone and it&#8217;s IMPOSSIBLE to give a definitive date on when you&#8217;ll see results.</p><h2>But Jonathan, What If I Give 100% To The Workouts &amp; My Nutrition?</h2><p>You&#8217;ve gotta be able to tell me when I&#8217;ll see results if I give 100% to the workouts and my nutrition&#8230;Right?</p><p>WRONG! :-)</p><p>You still have a different metabolism, different body type, etc. etc. I still have no clue when you&#8217;ll see results.</p><h2>Ok, I Can Tell You This On When You&#8217;ll See Results&#8230;</h2><p>I can tell you, if you give 100% to your workouts AND you stick with the nutrition side of things&#8230;</p><p>Unless you have some type of medical condition, you should see some results. How much? Again I couldn&#8217;t tell you.</p><p>Will you lose all of the weight and achieve  all of your goals your first time through the program? Maybe, maybe not. I couldn&#8217;t tell you again.</p><p>Some people do achieve all of their goals, some don&#8217;t.</p><h2>Important Thing To Keep In Mind</h2><p><img class="alignright size-medium wp-image-290438" title="All Great Achievements Require Time" src="http://cdn.trek2befit.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/All-Great-Achievements-Require-Time-300x180.png" alt="All Great Achievements Require Time" width="300" height="180" />Working out, eating right, should NOT just be a 60, or 90 day thing. So if you don&#8217;t hit your goals your first time through your fitness program&#8230;it&#8217;s ok!</p><p>This should be a LIFELONG commitment. That may sound to be a bit much, but that&#8217;s what it needs to be. I&#8217;d be crappy <a href="http://trek2befit.com/go/freebbc">Coach</a> to tell you anything different.</p><p>You only have ONE body while you&#8217;re hear on Earth. So you should ALWAYS be taking care of it by exercising and eating right if you want to live as long, and healthy of a life as possible . . . So you can enjoy AS much time on this Earth with family, and friends.</p><p>When I started P90X the first time was I expecting a total lifestyle change? Was I expecting to have to continue working out after my first 90 days?</p><p>I honestly didn&#8217;t even think about it. All I knew, is I was tired of looking the way I looked. I was tired of feeling the way I felt. I wanted change. I wanted to live a life free of sickness, disease so I can grow up to be that old dude that own&#8217;s a Woody and surfs all day. That&#8217;s ALL I knew. :-)</p><p>And what happened? I changed. This journey turned from a 90 day fitness program, into a TOTAL lifestyle change.</p><p>Over 2 years later, I&#8217;m in the best shape of my life. I look good, I feel better, stronger, faster, then I have ever felt before. And I ain&#8217;t EVER, EVER going back to the old me.</p><p>So if you don&#8217;t accomplish the results you want during your first round of whatever program you&#8217;re doing&#8230;</p><p>Don&#8217;t quit.</p><p>Just look at everything you did during that first round. Be 100% honest with yourself on whether you REALLY gave it your all. Whether you REALLY stuck with the nutrition.</p><p>Correct your mistakes.</p><p>&#8230;And Keep Moving Forward.</p><p>THAT is how you see the changes you want. THAT is how you get the body of your dreams.</p><p>So&#8230;</p><p>Just.</p><p>Keep.</p><p>Pushing.</p><p>Play! After finishing Phase 2 of P90X2, I knew this would be an awesome combination. I&#8217;m excited to finally be sharing it with you!</p><h2>Why A P90X P90X2 Hybrid?</h2><p>So really quickly, why would you want to do a <span style="text-decoration: underline;">P90X P90X2 hybrid</span>?<span id="more-290419"></span></p><p>For me personally, I want to continue adding some size. By combining the strength Phase of P90X2, with the original P90X workouts I think we&#8217;ve got a super challenging, but fun workout that will help dudes, and even dudettes like me who want to add more size.</p><p>Also, if you&#8217;re not looking to add size, then that doesn&#8217;t mean the P90X P90x2 Hybrid isn&#8217;t for you. That just means you&#8217;ll want to use lighter weight, and do higher reps.</p><p>If you&#8217;re looking to bulk up like me, then you&#8217;ll want to focus on doing 8 to 10 reps with heavier weight. Once you can do 10 reps, then it&#8217;s time to heavy up the weight. I may even start going up once I can do 8 reps.</p><p>My P90X P90X2 hybrid is really for anyone looking for a new challenge and who want to continue seeing changes. I decided that I&#8217;d keep the recovery time just like in P90X2 where it&#8217;s up you on when you take some time to let your body recover. I really love that about P90X2.</p><p>It&#8217;s a much more flexible schedule and takes more into account that we all have different bodies and therefore, when and how long we need the recovery time is different. I did put in there though that as a general rule of thumb, it&#8217;s good to take some recovery time every 3 to 6 weeks.</p><h2>You Going To Do The P90X P90X2 Hybrid Schedule?</h2><p>I&#8217;m already at week 3 in my P90X P90X2 hybrid and I&#8217;m lovin it! Mike burned off the goo, he&#8217;s got a six pack, and he&#8217;s gotten ripped! Feel good about how I look without a shirt again. Blood pressure is normal and no more back pain.</p><p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>How did you keep yourself pushing play everyday, and/or what did you do on down days where you didn&#8217;t feel like working out?</strong></span></p><p>I really did not need much motivation after the second week. It became a habit at that point. I&#8217;ve slimmed up, and have somewhat of a six pack going on. However, as you can see above I&#8217;m pretty sure I saw some positive changes. :-)</p><p>My core/abs look and feel stronger then they have ever felt before. Having the most chiseled, cut six pack is something that I&#8217;m always striving for, and with <a href="http://trek2befit.com/go/p90x2" target="_blank">P90X2</a> I&#8217;ve been able to take things to a whole new level.</p><h2>Was OPERATION X2 HULK A Success Or Failure?</h2><p>My mission for P90X2 was to add size (see my <a href="http://trek2befit.com/p90x2-operation-x2-hulk" target="_blank">OPERATION X2 HULK post here</a>), and by looking at my pics it definitely looks like I&#8217;ve increased my muscle mass. I definitely didn&#8217;t add as much as I had hoped too, but I knew going in that it was going to be a tough mission to accomplish since-</p><p>1) it was my first time doing P90X2,<br /> 2) Phase 1 &amp; Phase 3 weren&#8217;t all that conducive to doing adding size, and<br /> 3) this was my first true attempt at bulking up.</p><p>So this round of P90X2 was an awesome journey of me learning my body and how it reacts to different daily calorie levels.</p><p>My goal was to gain at least 10 to 15 pounds of pure muscle&#8230;</p><p><em><strong>and I&#8217;m happy to say that I gained 8.40 pounds of pure muscle.</strong></em></p><p>Even though I didn&#8217;t gain at least 10 pounds of muscle, I did get very, very close to my goal, and I now know what I need to do to gain more! :-)</p><p>So I say OPERATION X2 HULK was a SUCCESS!</p><h2>What&#8217;s Next After P90X2?</h2><p>Immediately after I finished P90X2, I started a P90X2 P90X hybrid. I&#8217;m almost a full week into the hybrid and I&#8217;m LOVIN it!</p><p>Stay tuned because I&#8217;ll be sharing with you the schedule I&#8217;ve put together so you can join me if you want. So keep on reading as we go on a magic carpet ride! :-) <strong><em>Just kidding about the magic carpet ride.</em></strong><span id="more-290370"></span></p><h2>What is the Energy and Endurance Pre-workout Formula?</h2><p>The Energy and Endurance Pre-workout Formula  (aka E &amp; E) is a pre-workout supplement designed to give you a surge of energy to help you push harder, and longer during your workouts. Pre-workouts are nothing new and have been around for awhile, but this is the first pre-workout supplement that Team Beachbody has released (which had me super excited).</p><p>As the name states (pre-workout) you take the Energy and Endurance Pre-workout Formula before your workouts. You&#8217;ll want to take it 15 to 20 minutes before you start to allow it to start kicking in and do it&#8217;s thing.</p><h3>Who Is It For?</h3><p>The <a href="http://trek2befit.com/go/energyandendurance" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Energy and Endurance Formula</a> is for anyone who wants more energy for their workouts. If you&#8217;re like me and you workout in the mornings, then it&#8217;s a great way to wake you up, get you hyped up and ready to workout.</p><p>Also, if you workout during the mid-afternoon slump&#8230;you know, about 2pm to 3pm or so where you start getting tired and ready for a nap, then this will give you the jolt of energy that you need so you can get an awesome workout.</p><h3>What&#8217;s Inside &#8211; Energy and Endurance Formula</h3><p>One of my FAVORITE things about the Energy and Endurance Formula is that despite it being a pre-workout supplement, it has NO artificial flavors,  sweeteners, or preservatives. It also isn&#8217;t loaded with sketchy, untested ingredients.</p><p>When you&#8217;re dealing with pre-workout supplements, that is NOT the norm. They always seem to be loaded up with ingredients that promise to <em><strong>BLOW YOU AWAY</strong></em> with the energy you get from them. They usually deliver on that, but the trade off is they have controversial ingredients in them. I&#8217;m always nervous about taking supplements like that (because I want energy, but I don&#8217;t want to kill myself).</p><p>With the Energy and Endurance Pre-workout Formula you won&#8217;t find those crazy ingredients. It&#8217;s a whole foods based formula. I see that as a good thing since with most creatine you have to cycle it (use it for a few months, and then not take it for month).</p><p>So with the E &amp; E formula you can take it with whatever creatine supplement that you want (or none at all) and you&#8217;ll still be able to use E &amp; E when you&#8217;re in your off cycle with your creatine.</p><h3>Quick Warning</h3><p>The E &amp; E formula gives you the energy from caffeine that comes from a <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Green_tea" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">green tea</a>/herbal blend. This is how ALL pre-workout supplements give you that extra kick. So, if you are sensitive to caffeine then this is NOT for you.</p><p>Also, don&#8217;t take this within 4 hours of your bedtime, otherwise you&#8217;ll have a very long, sleepless night.</p><p>Lastly, as always, talk with your doc before starting any fitness/supplement program. And if you have medical condition&#8230;don&#8217;t ask me if it&#8217;s ok for you to take the E &amp; E formula! :-) I&#8217;m not a doctor!</p><h2>Energy and Endurance Pre-workout Formula Review</h2><p>Aight, now that you know what it is, now it&#8217;s time for my Energy and Endurance Pre-workout Formula review&#8230;</p><h3>The Taste</h3><p>Out of the many pre-workout supplements that I&#8217;ve tried, I&#8217;d say this is one of the best tasting pre-workout supplements that I&#8217;ve had. Most of them taste like total crap and you have to take them down like a shot. With the E &amp; E formula, that&#8217;s not the case.</p><p>It actually tastes good. It&#8217;s a lemon-lime flavor and I really enjoy it.</p><h3>My Experience With This Stuff</h3><p>Ok, so does the E &amp; E formula really give you more energy for your workouts? I&#8217;ve been using it during my P90X2 workouts (excluding the Yoga, and stretch workouts), and I can say without a doubt that it does. I notice a huge difference when I&#8217;m using it and when I&#8217;m not using it.</p><p>After about 10 minutes after taking it, I start feeling a surge of energy from it (that&#8217;s the caffeine kicking in). I&#8217;ll wait a full 20 minutes, and then I push play. I&#8217;m always totally fired up to workout and ready to give 110%.</p><p>Also, my energy is more sustained when using E &amp; E. Usually by the end of my workouts I&#8217;ll be totally exhausted and struggling to do the moves, but with E &amp; E I have more energy for the end of my workouts.</p><p>With a lot of pre-workout supplements you&#8217;ll have a major energy crash later in the day after using it. With the Energy and Endurance Pre-workout supplement I don&#8217;t experience an energy crash later on.</p><p>When compared to other pre-workout supplements, does this give me the biggest jolt of energy? No, but I do feel a noticeable difference. It&#8217;s a trade off when you&#8217;re dealing with other pre-workout supplements on the market. Do you want a pre-workout supplement that is whole foods based, and is NOT loaded with untested, controversial ingredients? Then go for the E &amp; E formula.</p><p>If you only care about getting the biggest surge of energy and don&#8217;t care about the ingredients, then there&#8217;s plenty of supplements out there like that.</p><p>Will I stop using other pre-workout supplements? So I decided it was about time that I start doing some research and look for a new pair of shoes.</p><p>After a ton of research I settled on the Reebok Realflex Transition shoe.</p><p>I&#8217;ve worn these shoes now for 3 workouts (during the P90X2 PAP Lower workout) and I wanted to give you my Reebok Realflex review.</p><p>Did these shoes relieve the pain? Continue reading my Reebok Realflex review and you&#8217;ll find out! :-)<span id="more-290367"></span></p><h2>The Importance Of Good Shoes</h2><p>The jump training found in P90X2 (Plyocide), P90X (Plyometrics), TurboFire, etc. is super hard on your feet and legs. Having the right shoes is critical to help prevent injuries. In the P90X2 P.A.P. Lower workout, Tony Horton makes a point to say at the beginning of the workout to get some good shoes.</p><p>He says that running shoes are not the type of shoes you want to be using. You need tennis shoes, basketball shoes, or any other shoe made for high impact workouts.</p><p>Well, I learned first hand that Tony Horton was right! :-) The shoes I was using were running shoes made by Asics. So if you&#8217;re feeling pain in your feet, legs, or even your knees, you might want to look into to getting some new shoes.</p><p>I&#8217;m of course NOT a doctor, so when in doubt, see your doctor!</p><h2>Reebok Realflex Transition Video Review</h2><p>Here&#8217;s a quick video with me giving my Reebok Realflex review for you audio/visual people-</p><p><iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/5-bdKOYYlvg?rel=0" frameborder="0" width="450" height="360"></iframe></p><h2></h2><h2>Comfort/Fit</h2><p>I&#8217;d say the Reebok Realflex Transition shoes are probably one of the most comfortable shoes that I&#8217;ve ever worn. There&#8217;s plenty of cushion, they are very light weight (it almost feels like I&#8217;m not wearing any shoes), and they are just very comfy shoes.</p><p>They are very narrow shoes, so if you have wider feet then they may not work for you. For me though they fit like a glove. It literally feels like that they were specifically made for me.</p><h2>Performance During Workouts</h2><p>During the 1 Leg Slalom move in P90X2 Plyocide, I&#8217;m happy to say that the pain is completely&#8230;.GONE with these shoes! :-) I was a little surprised by this and was expecting some pain the first time wearing these shoes, but I didn&#8217;t experience any. It was awesome being able to push through that move and to not have to stop due to the pain.</p><p>The only downside with the Reebok Realflex Transitions is during the lateral movements I don&#8217;t feel as stable. I think this is due to the height of the nodes on the bottom of the shoes. After a few times wearing them though I&#8217;ve gotten used to that and just make sure to be aware of that so I don&#8217;t fall over and twist my ankle.</p><h2>The Verdict? &#8211; Reebok Realflex Review</h2><p>Overall, I&#8217;m very happy with these shoes and would highly recommend them to anyone during P90X2, P90X, Turbofire, or any workout that involves jump training. I would recommend though that you go to a physical store and try them on so you can make sure that they aren&#8217;t too narrow for your feet.</p><p>You&#8217;ll also just want to be very careful during any lateral movements. It might be just me who feels a little unstable during lateral moves with these shoes on, but it&#8217;s just something to be aware of.</p><h3>Great Advice From Chalene Johnson</h3><p>Chalene Johnson (from the TurbFire workout) gives some awesome advice during the below video.
