This past week was insane busy so I just got around to making a new post.Hmmmm...personally I think that even though you're doing less reps the second round since you're tired, I think that you're still getting a great, very intense workout since you're not allowing your muscles much time to rest. I can still see both sides of the coin though. It's really hard to say if taking the break to do Ab Ripper X and then doing the second round is more beneficial. I guess it comes down to which way is more intense for you ? Even though you're doing more reps by taking the break do you feel like the intensity is higher? With the higher intensity, you'll burn more calories and push your muscles to failure faster. Let me know what you decide.

I did shoulders and arms today. I switched it up since my DVD is broke anyways. I did round 1 through, then ab ripper, then round 2 through. It allowed me to push harder during round one, because it gave my muscles time to recoup during ab ripper. So I got more reps in than normal.I can't decide if it was beneficial though. What do you think?

It does depend on a persons determination, and it's ultimately up to them to make the call to continue on if they think they can do it. I'm a true believer in if you put your mind to something, you can do it!!

But determination/character can play into it alot too. I failed the fit test before I started, which is probably why I injured myself a few times at the beginning. But I kept with it and saw great results.I couldn't do a pull up when i started and couldnt hold the wall squat for a whole minute. Just have to learn to do modified versions until you can do the full version. I think you read through my Day 1 Rd 2 the other day. So it can work jumping into P90X if you have the mental fortitude.
