P90X Day 14 Completed: P90X Rest or X Stretch
I just completed day 14 of my P90X workout. That means I have officially completed 2 weeks of P90X! That’s crazy to think it’s already been 2 weeks of P90X!! The first week of the P90X workout program went by really slow, but this week has really just flown by.
Today was the P90X X Stretch. I’ll be honest, I was tempted to almost skip this P90X workout since it’s optional (and I’m lazy), but I decided to go ahead and knock it out. I’m really glad that I did it, because the stretches felt really good!

Hampton Roads, VA Snow Storm 2010
It has been a very lazy day for my wife and I because we are basically stuck at home for the day from the snow storm that came in. It’s been snowing since about midnight last night. We probably have about 6 inches of snow on the ground and they are calling for about 12 inches. This may not sound like much for people who live up north, but we live in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia, and we rarely get snow like this. When it snows an inch here, everything shuts down. Also, people around here don’t know how to drive in snow so it is guaranteed that traffic will be horrible from all of the accidents. Maybe my wife and I will go play in the snow with our dog! :-)
Nutrition for today-
Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal, and a protein shake.
Mid-Morning: NOTHING! I should have had a protein shake.
Lunch: Sandwich with roast beef, and a slice of provolone cheese (on whole wheat bread).
Mid-Afternoon: Berry Smoothie with 1 cup of frozen rasberries, blueberries, & blackberries, 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed, 1 scoop of protein powder, and skim milk (not sure how much, just filled up the cup).
Dinner: My wife is making some type of soup for dinner in the crock pot. It has chicken and shrimp in it and she wouldn’t tell me what else is in it. That means I shouldn’t eat a lot of it because it probably isn’t all that healthy.
After-Dinner: Protein shake.

This was quite the storm! We were only supposed to get a dusting (30 miles west of DC) but we ended up with a good 8 inches!
Thanks for being thorough in your posts. I hadn’t come across those weighted gloves you posted yesterday. They do seem like they would help take it up a notch.
Wow! That’s a lot of snow! We ended up getting maybe around 7 inches. That is a ton of snow for around here though!
I appreciate it! Yea I may have to wait to get the gloves until Phase 2 of P90X, but I’ve decided to definitely get them.
I completely lazy dayed it up. I did some pull ups and puships. Only about 10 mins worth.
And its a misconception that the farther north you go the better the drivers are in the snow. I see so many accidents everytime it snows/ices.
Yea, I was so close to just saying screw the X Stretch!
I guess I had that misconception! I always thought they were better drivers since they get a lot more snow. I guess it’s like that everywhere.
