Today is day 45 of my P90X workout, which means I am officially half way done P90X!!! I can’t believe that I’m already at the halfway point! Time has flown by! Today I killed my biceps during Back & Biceps!! For all of the exercises I used 25 pound dumbbells (last week I used 25 pounds for half of the exercises, and then I went down to 20 pounds). Also, I used 30 pound dumbbells for the first set of Lawnmowers, and I started out with the 30 pound dumbbells with the Strip-Set Curls instead of the 25 pound dumbbells. By the end of the workout my biceps were extremely sore! For the pull ups, I increased by 1 or more reps for all sets except for the Switch Grip Pull ups (I did the same number of reps from last week). During the Towel Pull ups I ended up doing 12 reps versus only 9 from last week.

Ab Ripper X went really well too! I did all 300-something moves and I did the advanced version of all the exercises except for the Leg Climbs. I still can’t seem to get through all of the Leg Climbs while only touching my shins. I got through all 12 reps on my right side with just touching my shin like usual, and I think I got to about the 7th or 8th rep just touching my shin on my left leg (about the same from P90X day 43).

For everyone who is doing P90X, keep up the hard work and keep following the diet! You will see results!

Nutrition for today-

Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal, and a protein shake.

Mid-Morning: Protein shake.

Lunch: Turkey sandwich with lettuce, provolone cheese, and extra virgin olive oil dressing.

Mid-Afternoon: P90X Recovery drink and a protein shake after P90X Back & Biceps.

Dinner: Can of Campbell’s Roasted Beef Tips with Vegetables soup. It was a little high in sodium like most soups, but it had a good amount of protein in it.

After-Dinner: Protein shake.

  1. I hate you.

    :)

Man, I am so envious you have been able to stick to the schedule. My week has been hell thus far…I counted I have officially not done P90x for 12 days, with the majority of those me being sick or resting from being sick.

But this week has not gone well so I have yet to begin Week 5 again. ARGH!!!

    • I know it sucks…but you’re doing the best thing right now in letting your body rest so it can fight the bug!! Wish I could do something to help out!!

I hope you get better soon!

      • Well, the bug is no longer a factor…now its just friggin TIME. I am giong to invent the 28 hour day!!!

        • Glad you’ve gotten better!! I’m afraid I may be coming down with something now! :-(

Let me know if you have any luck inventing the 28 hour day, because I need that too!
