P90X Day 65 Completed: P90X Plyometrics

P90X Plyometrics
Today is day 65 of my P90X workout, and I’m exhausted from Plyometrics! My legs were burning throughout the workout (from all the squats), and I was dripping in sweat! I think I got a great cardio workout from Plyometrics today!
All of the different squats during Plyometrics have always been tough for me, but I’m definitely getting better at them. My legs usually start to burn like crazy during the second set of the Run-Stance Squat Switch Pick-Ups. I just do as many reps as I can until my legs won’t go any more. I’m hoping one day I’ll be able to get through all of the reps of every single exercise. My legs will definitely be pretty strong once I get to that point!
One improvement that I have made is that I am now able to get through the entire 60 seconds during both sets of Hot Foot. During the last 10 seconds my calves feel like they are on fire, but I’ve just been pushing through the pain. Also, I’m able to do all of the reps during both sets of the Leapfrog Squat and the Lateral Leapfrog Squat (which burn like crazy as well). It’s going to be really awesome to see the improvements I’ve made when I re-take the Fit Test after I complete P90X! That won’t be long! I’ve only got about 25 days to go!
I’m excited for Back & Biceps tomorrow. This is one of my favorite P90X workouts!
Nutrition for today-
Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal, and a protein shake.
Mid-Morning: Protein shake.
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with provolone cheese, and extra virgin olive oil dressing.
Mid-Afternoon: Cup of grape juice prior to Plyometrics. Also had the P90X Recovery drink and a protein shake after the workout.
Dinner: Tonight we will probably just have left overs. Last night we ended up having tuna tacos so we’ll probably be eating that tonight as well.
After-Dinner: Protein shake.

I’ve dropped 5 lbs since I started this phase of P90X. Pretty nice is you ask me. Another 5 by the end would be great.
I ripped it up today I felt. I know I will feel it tommorow. Mary Katherines are still my nemesis. I can’t keep up with TOny on the video ever.
My nephew tried to do plyo with me(he’s 4). He started off really good in the warmups, but he was tuckered out before we got halfway through the warmup. He kept calling me old and asking me why I was sweating.
CONGRATS! That’s great!
Also good job for giving Plyometrics your all! The Mary Katherines are tough!
That’s funny about your nephew!! Four year old’s can say some really funny things!!
