P90X Day 74 Completed: P90X Yoga X
Today is day 74 of my P90X workout, and I just completed Yoga X. It felt great to do all of the poses and stretches! I also enjoyed shutting off the world around me to just focus exclusively on Yoga X. A lot of times I tend to stress myself out over very minor things (which is what I’ve done today). Yoga X helps me escape that stress and to relax. I just need remind myself that there’s no need to stress over the small things!
I’m still stumbling somewhat during the Half Moon to the Twisting Half Moon. These two poses are really tough for me. The combination of reaching to the ceiling with one arm while doing a standing split makes me lose my balance. During those poses I just do the best I can! The rest of the poses and stretches went really well. I especially enjoyed the Child’s Pose, Shavasana (Corpse Pose), and the Fetal Pose. They really helped me to clear my mind and to relax!
Well, I’m off to go finish my work for the day! I’m coming to the end of Week 11 of P90X, which means only 2 more weeks left!!
Nutrition for today-
Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal, and a protein shake.
Mid-Morning: Protein shake.
Lunch: Sliced Chicken sandwich with provolone cheese, and extra virgin olive oil dressing.
Mid-Afternoon: Protein shake after Yoga X.
Dinner: Tonight I’m on my own for dinner so I’m not sure what I’ll be making. I may have some Tilapia and some type of vegetable.
After-Dinner: Protein shake.

I am a bad, bad kid. I skipped the workout because I didn’t want to put any stress on my ankle. Hopefully it feels fine today so I can do Legs and Back. I can’t skip two days in a row :(
If you think the workout would have injured your ankle more, than I think it’s smart that you skipped it!
I hope it’s better today too so you can do Legs & Back! You could always modify some of the exercises or just do the Back exercises if your ankle still is still sore.
