P90X Day 83 Completed: P90X Kenpo X

I just completed my P90X workout for the day, Kenpo X. This workout flew by (like usual) and I had a ton of fun kicking, punching, jabbing, and blocking! I was also sweating like crazy throughout the workout. Today basically concludes week 12 of P90X (with the exception of X Stretch tomorrow)!
I think unfortunately I’m not going to have time to do X Stretch again tomorrow. My wife and I have a jam packed weekend ahead of us! Tonight we’re going to a BBQ with some friends, tomorrow morning we’re heading to Virginia Beach to go rock climbing, tomorrow afternoon/evening we’ll be going to Colonial Williamsburg to be tourists, and on Sunday we’ll be going back to Williamsburg to go to Busch Gardens.
I’m really excited to go rock climbing to see how I’ve improved. The last time I went rock climbing it was before P90X, and I did horrible! I only went up the rock wall a few times and I was completely exhausted! My arms and legs were shaking from being so tired. I was also sore for several days after. I’m thinking things will go a lot better this time! :-)
Only 7 more days of P90X to go! Well, I guess technically it’s 8 more days if you count the last X Stretch day!
Nutrition for today-
Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal and a protein shake.
Mid-Morning: Protein shake.
Lunch: Tuna sandwich on whole wheat bread.
Mid-Afternoon: Protein shake and P90X Recovery drink after Kenpo X.
Dinner: Since we’re going to a BBQ this evening, I’m probably going to eat some food before so I don’t pig out. I may have a bowl of Fiber One cereal and maybe even some eggs.
After-Dinner: Protein shake.

Day 83 is done! We did Kenpo X+ this afternoon after hosting 8 5 year olds for a birthday party. Now that’s commitment. =0) We still have a few workouts to make up from last week but will either to a double or will add a few days on. We’re now looking into Insanity-P90X hybrid for the summer. Needing a change and not wanting to lose the momentum. Will definately keep pushing play.

I’m leaning more towards doing a P90X/Insanity hybrid as well. I have the Insanity program now and it will definitely step up the cardio! Let me know what you decide to do.

On your first 90 days of p90x did you follow the 50/30/20 ratios for fat shredder? Also how did you make your protein shake and what kind of turkey did you use for your sandwiches? Thanks!
