Week 1 – Completed!
Well, I have survived the first week of P90X. I had good days and bad, but just the fact that I completed the whole week with no injuries, no diet disasters, no crying and no quitting makes me quite pleased with myself.
Somehow I convinced my 16 year old daughter to join me, and she has been quite a trooper. She’s done several of the workouts with me, she and her sister both did the initial fit test, and they’ve both been willing to try new foods, which is very strange for them. We have always been carboholics. Eating chicken and vegetables is a new concept. I have to say, I’m quite proud – and somewhat shocked – that they’re playing along so willingly. Thanks, girls!
I re-took the P90X fit test on Monday night and below are the results. I’ve definitely made some great improvements since the start of the P90X workout! I can honestly say now that I’m truly in the best shape of my life!
Only 2 more days until I start the P90X workout! Yesterday evening I completed the P90X fit test (that’s why I wasn’t able to post). If you’re about to start the P90X workout, then you should definitely make sure to do the fit test prior to starting P90X. The fit test ensures you are at a fitness level that is adequate to be able to get through the P90X program, and will show how much you’ve improved after completing P90X (you will take the fit test again at the completion of P90X).
Here are the P90X fit test pages from the P90X Fitness Guide as a PDF document (click here). You can print this out and use it to write down your P90X fit test results as well as your body measurements.Continue reading
