Since you know p 90x very well my question is … If I am in a hotel 80 percent of the time is it possible to effectively get a lot out of doing P 90 x.?

In other words I will not have weights, pull up bars. Only resistance bands where I will have to attach to the bathroom door or entrance door. Please advise. Or should I just stick with Insanity

Thanks
Gary

Thanks for your comment! Yea I get his P90X One on One each month and I just got his new book, “Bring It” yesterday!

Great job for focusing on your weakness! That’s what Tony Horton would recommend to do! :-) Thank you for your kind words and CONGRATS on all of your success! I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!

My workout favorites are the One on One’s with Tony Horton. In fact I have been reading his book -Bring It!

I am attacking my weakness with a plan for my workouts, adding more squats with weights to circuit training. Also I am doing the Chin Up Challenge so I can really bring it more being able to do more chin ups during P0X, plus, and One on One’s. From only doing a few chin ups and having to use the chair, I now can do 10 chin ups easily and expect to reach 20 within the next 4 weeks. Yoga is my passion and this works well with P90x, Plus, and One on One with Tony Horton. P90x, one on one, plus, and Yoga makes a busy week for me. I teach yoga 6 classes per week and manage to include the Beach Body DVDs also. It is a fun journey. I enjoy your videos and wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.

Right now my fitness plan is get up as early as possible, get on the treadmill, run as hard/fast/long as possible. try not to puke. Repeat until the desired results are obtained.

GREAT job Vanessa! Congrats for committing to do your first 10K in March! Yes, your right that it does feel amazing after pushing yourself as hard as you can. Yea I’ve heard of runners getting a “runner’s high” while doing a race so I wonder if the feeling I get during & after Insanity is the same?!? You’ll have to tell me after you run your 10K!

Also CONGRATS for being a NEW non smoker! It’s such a strong addiction so you ought to be really proud of yourself for overcoming that. I appreciate the kind words too. What fitness program are you doing by the way?

Have a wonderful day Vanessa!

I have been pushing myself harder than I ever have in my life in my workouts – I’m no where near the level you are – I am simply training for my first ever 10K (or any “k”) coming up in March. It feels so amazing to push yourself past where you thought it possible you could go. I’ve been at the same place you were with the breathing – I didn’t know I could breathe like that! My favorite part is as soon as I’ve recovered my breath I start right back up and do it again! (BTW I am a relatively new non-smoker – 15 months and counting – so I don’t take breathing for granted!!!!) Keep up the INSANE work! And thanks for the support and for sharing that even fitness gurus have to strive for better – and it’s HARD for y’all TOO!!!!!
