I’d just start the week over. You have to think how bad do you really want it? If you want it bad enough, then like you said, you should just suck it up and do whatever you have to do to get your workouts in…even if that means getting up at 4AM. I have a good friend who has to do exactly that. If you can make it through 7 days of getting up at that time, then you can do it! Keep us updated Christine!

Ive done hardly any workouts this week. I’m thinking about just sucking it up and waking my ass up at 4am to get it done. Should I start this whole week over. Fresh or do I have to start the whole program over again?

You completed a full 90 day program and 1 month later you started up and it felt new again? WOW. Your body must have lost quite a bit during that 30 day period.

Congrats on getting through P90X!! I already planning to do another round once I get through this round.

What kind of changes did you see with round 1 of P90X?

This morning was day 4, Yoga X. It amazes me how it feels like I’ve never done this stuff before. The balance postures were messing with me, and the 30 minutes + of upward/downward dog’s kicked my butt. But, I love it and manage to block everything out and complete Yoga X every time I do it. P90X rocks!

I think I may have been in a similar boat as you during the first few weeks. I kept straining something in my upper back everyday I had to do pullups. Best thing you can do is avoid that area until it heals, otherwise it will just keep reaggrivating. Took me 3 exercises to do that.

Pull ups are going great after I healed up though. I’ve added 1-2 reps depending on the stance.

That sounds like the smart thing to do. You definitely don’t want to injury yourself!!

No it definitely just wasn’t you that didn’t feel much of a change.

I’m really sore today too. My biceps and back are aching. I’m pretty lame! I didn’t do anything last night for Fat Tuesday!!

Will probably do plyo today instead of chest/shoulders/triceps…because of my neck or I will just do it not sure.

One thing, after talking with some people, is I will either continue donig pullups BUT ONLY assisted with a chair since I keep messing my neck up…or I will nix them altogether and do dumbbell shrugs. My trap and lavator scapulae muscles seem to be weak and all I keep doing is straining them..versus making them stronger.

Ok, so it wasn’t just me that didn’t feel like I was working something different by moving my elbows out. I just felt like I had to be missing something.

I’m incredibly sore today…that might be amplified by my fat tuesday celebration last night. Sore body, sore head, nauseous stomach…happy hump day!
