I completed P90 and then graduated to P90X, today was my 5th day but I feel that i am not able to do even 70% of what the people in the video are able to pull off. I have a question to ask you. Previously when I was doing P90 my weight was dropping by at-least 1.5 pounds per week. I am 5’10 and started P90 at 183 and about 26% body fat pounds now after 90 days of P90 my weight was 151 pounds 11% body fat and 5 days of P90X it’s about 150.8 pounds and about 10.7% body fat. My weight is not decreasing at the same pace as before, Is this normal?

The P90X Nutrition Guide that comes with P90X will help you figure out exactly how many calories you should be taking in each day. However, there’s an awesome online calculator that I use that makes figuring this out a snap. You can check it out here- How Many Calories Should I Eat A Day

Well, I am on Day 5 of P90X. So far I am loving it! Yeh, it’s hard (yoga killed me yesterday) but most of my soreness from earlier in the week is gone. Sounds like tonight with legs and back will be rough!!

Question for you, I am waiting on my P90X system to arrive and borrowing DVDs each day. I have no idea how many calories I need to be eating every day. I have been on a health kick and eating around 1300 a day. I think I may need to up it so I have more energy. Any thoughts?

GREAT JOB for not skipping P90X Legs and Back and for just PUSHING PLAY!!! That’s exactly what you gotta do. Yea the wall squats are painful, but you’ll get better with those with time.

I did Legs & Back yesterday myself (with a 42 pounds weighted vest strapped to me), and my legs are SUPER sore today!!

You’re going to LOVE Kenpo X! BRING IT!

I gotta say, I almost skipped it. I was going to use the excuse “finals are the week after next and I need to study,” but I pulled through and pushed play tonight. I’m really glad I did. That being said, wall squats suck! I still managed to hang in there, but I think it was the most difficult part of the exercise.

I think Yoga X really helped with my sore muscles, as my arms and lower body felt great this morning – still a bit sore, but not as bad as before.

Kenpo X should be fun tomorrow!

You could always do Ab Ripper X before your main workout. That’s actually what I usually do so I make sure to give 100% to it. Regardless, it sound like you got a great workout!!!

I recommend doing X Stretch if you can. It will feel awesome on your sore muscles, plus it will help to improve your flexibility which will benefit all of the other workouts.

Jaja it was painfull, by far the hardest workout of all cause i was so concentrated on legs and back i forgot i had to reserve a little energy for ab ripper. Good part of this, im less sore and since i was a soccer player my legs are not that bad, still it hurts a little bit but strangely not as much as with plyo. In about two hours i’ll be doing kenpo and ill let you know about it.
i will finish my week today, what do you recommend, do stretch or take the rest day?
