I would always pass the PT prior to P90X, but it would usually be pretty tough (I’d be sore for days and days after wards). LOL! Yea, that would be funny if I did the V-Ups instead of the regular sit ups!

Wow! That’s awesome that you were able to pump out 3 & 2 without being on your knees! I actually did all of them on my knees. Whenever I try to do them off of my knees, I just fall to the floor. Maybe I need to adjust where I put my hand? Not sure…

Sit-ups, push-ups and a 1.5 mile run, sound right up our alley! I’m sure it will be a cakewalk for you. Maybe you can do V-Ups instead of regular situps to show everyone up.

I meant to ask you, how did you ever do with one arm pushups after that first round. I could only get 3 with the right arm and 2 with the left arm before going to the knees and cheating.

I know it’s crazy how we’re more than halfway done!

I have those dumbbells where you can add and remove plates to increase or decrease the weight. They work, but I get tired of having to pause the P90X DVD to unscrew the nuts and change the plates during some of the workouts.

Nice!! Yea the weather was beautiful here in Virginia as well! It’s actually been pretty nice all week so far. Sounds like you got a great workout on Sunday! That’s awesome that you are seeing improvements outside of P90X! In a few weeks when I have my Coast Guard drills, I think we are going to have to do our PT test which involves sit-ups, push ups, and a 1.5 mile run. It’ll be interesting to see how I do.

I think I need to invest in some lighter dumbells, seeing as how the lightest I have is 20lbs. I end up not being able to do all the reps with weights due to it :(.

Also, the weather has finally improved in KC! Instead of yoga Sunday I decided to go play 18 holes of golf. After that I went for a 2 mile run. Was amazing to be outdoors. Suprisingly my golf swing seemed easier than normal(maybe newly developed muscle?). Also, not suprising, even though I have ran for 5 months or so. I did better than normal. Good to know P90x has improved things outside of just these exercises.
