I had been doing cardio for a few weeks then had a bad burn on my foot and needed a skin graft done. I’ve been down for about 1 1/2 months now. The doctor gave me the go ahead to work out again. Do you consider me starting with P90X to get back in the groove and so I don’t overdo my skin graft? Thanks!

If you have knee problems, then go for P90X! You can modify the moves in Plyo, and the other workouts are not as hard on the knees as Insanity.

I have been doing exercise on and off all my life. Right now I am 20 pounds overweight and I was doing Zumba and jogging as my cardio and weight 3 days out of the week. Unfortunately my knee is hurting so I am giving it some rest before I start a new way of getting fit. I have in my mind and with me insanity and P90X but I don’t know which one to start with. Do you have any recommendations? I just want to loose the pound and get fit but I don’t want to get bulky.

It’s up to you. You could do another round of P90X. Your nutrition plays a HUGE role in losing weight. So you could do another round of P90X and focus hard on nutrition.

It’s a super tough program. I generally recommend P90X starting out, but you very well could be ready for Insanity. But if it’s been months since you’ve been to the gym it might be safer to start with P90X

I just turned 40 and am 5’11 and weigh 185lbs. My trouble area is my belly and upper body, but legs are lean. I stopped going to the gym a few months ago due to relocation, can I go straight into Insanity?

If you’re trying to bulk up at all, then go for P90X.
