I wouldn’t worry about it too much. Even though your chest isn’t getting sore, you’re still getting a great workout. Your body has just gotten accustomed to the routine (which doesn’t necessarily mean you’re getting a less effective or intense workout). During round 1 of P90X after the second or third time of doing the Chest, Shoulders & Triceps workout the same thing happened to me (my arms were sore, but my chest wasn’t). Keep up the hard work!!

Alright, so what am I doing wrong. I did chest/shoulders/triceps and my chest isnt sore at all….my arms were dead to the world. Am I doing my pushups wrong or is it not just me? My arms die out way before there’s any issues in my chest.

Great job for doing Yoga X! Sounds like you’ve made some really good progress with it. I did Yoga X today and it went very well too. Even though it is somewhat intense at times, it really helps me to relax and let go of some stress.

Thanks! Yea, I’m not too worried about my measurements anymore (I did get caught up in them for awhile though). I’ve decided to keep trying to increase my reps and weight and to just do my best.

That’s awesome that you gained some mass in your arms! I understand about the eating less and drinking less. When hanging out with friends, it’s so easy to overindulge and to eat junk. That’s when it’s the hardest for me to stick with a healthy diet.

Keep up the hard work!!!

It was actually not that terrible for the first time. I think maybe the strengthing of my core and other muscles made some moves more enjoyable. I couldnt come near doing the crane the first round before I gave up. I held it for over 35 seconds before I narrowly avoided a face plant :). Damn having a broad upper body.

Congrats on making it through the first four weeks(17 weeks, whatever). Don’t even sweat the lack of improvement in measurements. No matter how well a program is designed, there will be a plateau effect at some point. Like you said, it could have gotten worse. It’s good that you hold yourself accountable for it though.

I actually gained a half inch on my arms this block, but i gained about 4 lbs as well. I need to eat less and drink less. These last 68 days I’m going to do my best to maintain a better diet.
