Your above P90x2 update summed up what I’m trying to do. Be the Hulk. Lot of work for someone who naturally has a high motabilism but I’m determined. I’m on the sencond week of Phase 1, so I’m not concerned about eating 3,000 calories a day. (but I do try to eat good meals/snacks and protein shakes to up my calories, every 3 hours) I’ll wait until trying Phase 2 to do all the calorie eating! :)

Thanks for the reply. Yes I know the “Additional Options” part for the 2 bonus workouts, but I was talking about on those weeks 2, 4, and 6 of Phase 2 for me, actually substituting original P90X workouts for the P90X2 workouts (I.e. Plyometrics for Plyocide, Yoga X for X2 Yoga, and Ab Ripper X for X2 Ab Ripper). See what I’m saying?

That’s actually what they suggest you to do! :-) They don’t specify that you do that on weeks 2, 4, or 6. Rather they leave up to you to switch it up how you want. So this round I’m doing 3 weeks of how it’s laid out, and then 3 weeks of what you mentioned. Check out this page and look at the section for Phase 2-

You’ll see in the Phase 2 section under “Additional Options” it tells you to do exactly what you said (but leave it up to you what weeks you want to do that in).

Weeks 1, 3, and 5 do as written in the schedule.

Weeks 2, 4, and 6:
V Scult with P90X Ab Ripper
P90X Plyo
(Maybe X Stretch?)
Chest + Shoulders + Triceps with P90X Ab Ripper
P90X Yoga
Base + Back with P90X Ab Ripper

Now I’m all about following the program to a T, and did and will P90X2 Phases 1 & 3 as written, but don’t you think this Phase 2 plan might give you more results/muscle confusion?
