It’s up to you if you do Cardio X or Plyo. I’d say if you can do Plyo then just do it. It’s tough, but if you stick with it, with time you might learn to enjoy it (I did…I used to hate it too). I was referring to the fact that Tony Horton himself sometimes dreads doing P90X Plyometrics since it kicks his butt too! :-) Just do your best and keep pushing play no matter what!

I have been using your blog as a way of keeping tabs with your historic progress as I get through my first round of P90X. Day 30 done and keen to get through phase 2 now. I’m based in the UK so I don’t think P90X has the same exposure here. I’d love to change that once I reach my goals which I actually think will take more like 180 days but that’s ok. I know I will get there.

Are you refering about that part where he said if you cant do something then do somthing you can do? Soo I shouldn’t feel bad about hating plyo. As long as I still bring it so to speak during.cardiox.

Like I really hate it not because its hard or challenging (that I actually don’t mind) I dread. This workout everyweek. Even though I can Get through it, its apparently not my thing.I don’t even feel good after I think I’m might switch it to cardiox not cause I’m wussing out, but cause I think it will keep my motivation up.

That was a good idea knocking Cardio X out early especially if you’re coming down with a cold. I hope the cold comes and goes away very quickly! I think it was at the end of Phase 2 when I caught something but luckily it didn’t last too long.

That is great teamwork! Sounds like the both of you are very committed to the program, so great job! Doing P90X with someone else or having an accountability partner really helps to keep people committed to the program. Good luck with Chest, Shoulders, and Triceps. That’s a tough workout, but I’m sure you’ll do great!

Did it while hubby and the kids were having supper. I’m starting a cold and didn’t think that I would have it in me at 7:30 tonight. You know you’re committed when… Hubby was more than happy to take over the kids to make sure that I didn’t miss a day. That’s teamwork. We’re starting a new weights program tomorrow. Chest, shoulders and triceps. Curious to see how it goes.

Congrats on getting to the 4th week of P90X!

Everyone is different on when they see results. I would expect though for your to see some type of change by the middle of Phase 2 or you may be doing something wrong. As long as you are doing the workouts the best you can, following the P90X diet or another high protein diet that works for you, then you will see results. It’s just a matter of time. Make sure to take your measurements every 30 days, and take pictures of yourself. Keep pushing hard and the changes will come!

Good job!! Congrats on your results!

Sorry to hear that you are going through that, but I’m really glad that P90X is helping you get through it. Again, great job and keep pushing play!
