This is currently my second go at p90x in ten months (9 months ago I broke some ribs 4 weeks in, and haven’t felt the motivation to start up again until now.) Its a real disappointment I didn’t get back into it after a full recovery from the rib breaks, because I actually saw results 4 weeks through the program, I guess I am just one of the lucky ones?! Now, onto my question…

I have just completed my third week of chest and back, but yesterday I was not able to make time for the Plyometrics workout. I was wondering if anybody had a recommendation on when and how to make up this workout, I do not want to skip it completely because I do not want to lose my focus. I am hoping to combine it with tomorrows Shoulders and Arms exercise?

I was wondering if anybody has personally done this, and if it is advisable? I am also curious in the order I should do it…My guess would be do the Shoulders and Arms first, perhaps earlier in the morning sometime, along with the Ab Ripper X, of course (which I like to do before the resistance workouts). Then later in the day is when I would hit the Plyometrics workout, and would anybody know the optimal time I should allow in-between both workouts?

Im really concerned about the order of these two, I guess. Does my plan sound good? Or should I do Ploymetrics in the morning and Abs, Shoulders and Arms later in the day. I will be sure to make sure I am eating well before and after both work outs, of course. ;)

I’m really hoping to get a response tomorrow before crunch time comes because I do not want to lose a day, I am fully committed and do not want to lose focus because once I do, I know it will be hard to regain the drive I have right now…that’s just how I am I guess. LoL.

Anyways, big ups on the site again, it’s absolutely wonderful and is exactly what I was looking for!

Hey…you almost did the entire workout! That’s something to be proud of! Just do your best and forget the rest as Tony Horton says…Really take that to heart. There’s no luck involved! Just give 100%, and that’s ALL that matters. BRING IT!

It wasn’t bad the first week, but now the soreness is really starting to catch up to me. I’m about to do arms and shoulders, except my lats are still incredibly sore.

I’ve been reading your journey as I go through mine, but did you do anything extra to prevent soreness? I used to drink a Xyience drink to help me when I was weightlifting and boxing before, and I’m debating on jumping back on that.

I’m still kinda bummed I physically couldnt make it past the last 8 min I was just TOAST. Better luck next time right ??

Got it. It’s not a big deal…but if you ever want to get one to make sure you’re in the zone, Omron makes a good cheap one for $30 (that’s what I use). Keep on BRINGING IT!
