Honestly, not really 100% sure yet. I’ve got the program sitting in my home office :-), but I need a few more pieces of equipment and I’ll be ready.

I was planning on finishing the P90X P90X2 Hybrid, but I’m itching really bad to start Body Beast. You’ll have to have your friend order it online here – http://www.teambeachbody.com/workout-routines/body-beast-workout?referringRepId=35822

It’s not sold in stores. Once I make my final decision I’ll be letting you know the direction I’m taking. Keep pushing play buddy!

Are you going to head straight into body beast or are you going to finish your hybrid?
Personally I can’t wait for body beast as I’m a skinny guy by nature and really want a programme that just adds bulk.
Living in Scotland it looks like it could be a while given p90x2 isn’t out in the uk yet. I have a friend who is in Florida for work next week, is it possible to buy beachbody products in shops or are they just mail order as I would love him to pick up a copy.
Looks like Vegas was a blast, would love to attend some of those events.
Cheers,
Ian

It’s so easy to do that with a lot of weight! Sounds like we both have to do a better job of better form and listening to our bodies. Great job though for moving forward, and for going to the doc (I’m stubborn and haven’t gone yet, but it’s getting a lot better now).

KEEP pushing play Greg and keep us updated on your journey!

I was using too much weight also. I didn’t really feel the pain from it till later that day. I didn’t have the full range of motion to bend over. I tried to do X2 Yoga the next day and I couldn’t bend over or even do Downward Dog. I ended up doing P90X X Stretch that day, went to my chiropractor and took the next day off. When I started back up I did Shoulders & Arms (no bending over).
It is better but I still have a little pain. I will try to do P.A.P. lower later today. We’ll see how it goes.
I’m really close to the end of P90X2, so I may have to take a couple weeks off, then start my hybrid workout I want to try.
Thanks for the update.

Also sorry to hear about your injury, but glad to hear it’s on the mend.

Started May 1 and just ended week 7 this morning. Started at 365 lbs and was at at 326 lbs this morning. Waist size 54 down to 48. I’m super happy with the program.

I’ve been sticking to the diet and modifying the exercises, but am able to do more every week.

I hurt my wrist at work a few weeks back, but have been able to do most of everything and still getting results.

It’s all good! It’s a lesson learned. Sounds like despite your injury, you’ve been working around it and moving forward. GREAT JOB! Having a good doc always helps!

Yea I know what you mean about the recovery. I hate recovery weeks and having to take it easy because of a messed up wrist….I just want to workout and go all out! :-) But our bodies need the rest/recovery.

KEEP pushing play Tim and keep us updated!

It all comes down to your “Why!” If it isn’t deep seeded enough, then you’ll quit. You also need the nutrition and support for long term results. Check out these posts for some help-

You don’t have to wait until after your vacation to get back on the wagon! :-) Just do it!

When I told you about a month ago that I broke my finger doing Yoga-X it turns out I tore my P.I.P.(much worse). I’ve not missed a single workout and am still eating by the book. This Is week 6 and EVERYONE is complimenting the crap out of me about how I look. The Injury is a real bummer but luckily my Doctor is a great sports Doc and I’ve been able to do everything so far without modifying too much. I admit that I don’t listen 100% about what not to do during my recovery but it’s really hard when you get yourself all jacked up about your program, your getting great results and BAMM!,you have an accident.

Sorry to hear that you hurt your wrist! I don’t have to worry about bad form because I have literally fallen off the wagon when it comes to working out. I started out strong and faltered here and there, but the past month I have been the worst when it comes to self motivation and staying on top of eating right and working out. I’m wondering what kind of advice you have for staying focused. I have a vacation coming up in two weeks so I feel like getting back into a routine wouldn’t make much sense at this point, but I want to start p90x over again when I get back. Any advice you have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!!
