Thanks Wendy! Yea we’re excited about the trip.

Awesome update on P90X2! Sounds like you’re doing an awesome job with the workouts. Are you tracking your nutrition? Nutrition is key to losing the weight. If you aren’t tracking what you eat, then you very well could be taking in too many calories. Check out step 7 here for help with that – https://trek2befit.com/how-to-start-p90x

Keep up the awesome work with P90X2 and continue to keep us updated!

This is a difficult phase for me (pull-ups are the worst…I still do them with one foot on a chair). Unlike you, I do not feel like I need a recovery week yet, but then I only work out 4-5 times a week, as my schedule allows, so I suppose that I already have built-in recovery days.

X2 is incredible! It’s challenging in new ways, but I can really feel the strength in my core. My numbers on the chart keep going up every week, which is really exciting. (The first time I did Chest + Back + Balance, some of my reps were ones and threes. Now they are fives and tens!)

I plan on doing Insanity when X2 is over. I just can’t seem to lose these last 15 pounds and it’s very frustrating. I’m hoping that Insanity will help. And no, I’m not following the nutrition guide, but I do eat pretty “clean,” lots of veggies and protein and light on the grains and sugars.

Congratulations on your Disney World trip! I hope you and your wife have an amazing time. It’s one of my favorite places to visit.

Thanks for this website…it’s very informative. I come back here once in a while for a little motivation.

Congrats for getting Insanity Brandon! I did all 60 days of Insanity with my wife as well last year (or maybe the year before, can’t remember exactly). Yep, you’ll get an incredible workout with the program.

You won’t gain a ton of muscle mass with Insanity since it’s a cardio based program, but you can offset it by taking in plenty of calories as you mentioned. Just take in a ton of healthy calories, or you could even use a weight gainer. Check out this post to learn how many calories you should be taking in each day-

Let us know when you get your Insanity!

I am in the marine corps and im not out of shape but i was told that it will work those muscles that every one forgets about. Do you know if that is true? I work out on a regular basis, however i think it will be fun to do something at home with my wife. Also i am trying to gain weight do you think this is a good workout to do this? also i have been taking in more calories but to offset the calories i burn throughout the day i need to eat an amount that i really cant handle. Do you have any supplements that you would recommend to resolve this issue of mine?

There is NO such thing as a bad workout, as any workout is better than no workout at all!…or at least that’s what I tell myself.

But I know what you mean. I had a VERY sluggish workout Monday after an “eventful” weekend.

Very happy for you getting the chance to speak w/ Tony Horton himself, and I will be on that call! Thanks for all your hard work!

Your videos are helping me overcome the terror. Thank you for being so honest and forthright with your own highs and lows. It helps, believe me!
