Awesome! Congrats for committing to using Shakeology. Yea it’s awesome stuff.

You can lose weight with either program so I’d do whatever you’re more excited about. Make sure to follow the nutrition side of things too with whatever program you go with. Your nutrition is just as important if not more important then your workouts. Hope that helps buddy!

I am actually a Team Beach Body coach, HOWEVER, I am not quite a product of my own coaching yet. I am 5’9 200 lbs, and mainly all my weight is in my belly, well near all of my weight is. I look like I have a giant beer gut. I am looking to lose weight quickly and then turn around eventually and build muscle. But at this current moment, I am looking to drop roughly 30lbs quickly and work on my abs in the process. which do you think I should do. I have both p90x and Insanity on hand and ready to go =)

I’m in the military and in good shape, our pt sessions are kind of a joke tho so I’m looking to do p90x to lose some body fat and tone up, I don’t need to get any bigger then I already am.. any advice on which work out would be beter for me in your opinion, classic or lean?

No problem. You’ll first want to check out the P90X Nutrition Guide since that will help you figure out how many calories you should be taking in based on your goals. Other then then making sure you take in enough calories, you won’t have to modify the workouts any.

I just read your blog, thanks for all the support and helpful comments. I have a concern, I am 5’2′ and weight 120, that is my ideal weight, skynier I look horrible. I want to start doing p90x next week, I am preparing myself and my kitchen to do so, BUT, i really do not want to loose weight, I JUST want to tone up my whole body, not to loose weight. How can I adjust the program or the food to protect my weight?
thanks!

You can go either way Josh based on you being so active. You can lose a massive amount of weight with either program. So it comes down to which program you’re drawn to most. Do you want hardcore cardio and to only use your body weight as the resistance? Or do you want some cardio, but lots of resistance training (push ups, pull ups, curls, etc. etc) with P90X?
