If you’re doing the P90X workout, you’ve probably heard Tony Horton say during Kenpo X to “check your heart to see if your in the zone” or something similar to that. During the below video, I’m going to show you exactly how to calculate your different target heart rate zones that you are going to want to work towards hitting during your workouts. These target heart rate zones aren’t just for P90X, they are for Insanity, or any other workout you’re doing.

It’s very important that you know your zone. By knowing your target heart rate zones, you’ll know if you’re at an intensity level that will give you the best possible results. You’ll also know if you’re pushing yourself too hard. Check out the video now!
