The Basics On The Insanity Workout Calendar

The Insanity workout program is an extreme full body workout program that was created by Shaun T. It is 60 days long and is focused around quick cardio intensive moves to help increase your strength, speed, and endurance. My wife and I both went through all 60 days of the program and I can honestly say that it was literally the hardest cardio workouts that we’ve both ever done in our lives. When we re-took the Insanity fit test for the last time, we were shocked and amazed at the dramatic increase in our strength, speed and endurance in only 60 days.

During the first month of Insanity the workouts are around 45 minutes in length. Towards the end of that first month I really started to enjoy the workouts. Then month 2 arrived and it really felt like it was day 1 all over again since the workouts were harder and longer. The second month Insanity workout calendar workouts are about 50 to 60 minutes long.

This WILL be a huge challenge for you, but stick with your Insanity workouts no matter what! Insanity Workout Calendar Hybrid With P90X

If you’re crazy like me :-) and want to do an even more extreme version of the program, then you may want to check out my hybrid of Insanity and P90X here – P90X Insanity Hybrid. I’ve got to warn you that this modified Insanity workout schedule is not for beginners and I highly, highly recommend that you complete a full round of Insanity and P90X separately before attempting a hybrid. I LOVE the resistance training within the P90X workout, but with time I found that the cardio got pretty easy for me. By combining the resistance workouts in P90X with the crazy intense cardio in Insanity, I get the best of both worlds!
