P90X X Stretch
I just finished a great session of X Stretch, so day 88 of my P90X workout is done! It felt really good to go through all of the stretches like usual. My flexibility is definitely increasing since touching my toes is becoming easier and easier! Maybe one day I’ll be like that lady on the P90X crew who is made of Play-doh and I’ll need a yoga block!
These last few days of P90X are quickly coming to an end! Tomorrow I’ve got to do Core Synergistics and that’s really the last hard workout I’ve got to do until I finish the program. I need to start thinking about what I’m going to do until I start round 2 of P90X. I may do an abbreviated version of some of the workouts until I start round 2. As of right now I’m thinking that I’m going to take 1-2 weeks off before I start the program again (I’m leaning towards just 1 week off since I don’t want to take a step backwards). During this next round of P90X I’m also seriously considering doing Ab Ripper X twice whenever I’m scheduled to do it. That way I can continue to increase the strength of my abdominal muscles.
Even though my first round of P90X is coming to a close, this is only the beginning! This truly is a never ending trek to stay fit and healthy!
Nutrition for today-
Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal and a protein shake.
Mid-Morning: Protein shake.
Lunch: Turkey sandwich with provolone cheese, and extra virgin olive oil dressing.
Mid-Afternoon: Protein shake and a banana after X Stretch.
Dinner: Last night my wife ended up making shrimp tacos (which were awesome!). She’s really become a great cook! At some point I’m going to have to step up and expand my cooking skills. I’m not quite sure what we’ll be having for dinner tonight.
After-Dinner: Protein shake.
