P90X X Stretch
Week 3 of my P90X workout is officially done! Today was either a rest day or X Stretch. I choose to do X Stretch since I’m extremely inflexible and I think doing this P90X DVD will really help my flexibility. All of the stretches felt great (with the exception of the wrist stretches), and I really enjoyed the leg stretches since that is where I’m still sore. For me, the wrist stretches have always been somewhat painful for me. They are just really uncomfortable for me.
Tomorrow is the start of week 4 of P90X. The first workout that I’m supposed to do is Yoga X. I’ve gotten somewhat used to Yoga X, but it’s always hard fitting it in to my schedule since its an hour and a half. Looking at the P90X Calendar for next week, it looks like I’ll be doing Yoga X twice next week. I’m going to be a yoga pro by the end of P90X!! It looks like a pretty easy week, but I still don’t know anything about Core Synergistics. I guess I’ll just let it be a surprise!
Well, my wife and I don’t have anything big planned today (which I don’t mind!) except for getting ready for a Super Bowl party that we’re going to tomorrow (Go Colts! :-))! It’s going to be a struggle keeping with my P90X diet, but I’m going to try to eat the most healthy food that is available. We’ll see how it goes!
Nutrition for today-
Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal, and a protein shake.
Mid-Morning: Protein shake.
Lunch: Egg sandwich with Egg Beaters and a slice of provolone cheese (I’ve got to go to the store because we’ve run out of turkey).
Mid-Afternoon: Protein shake.
Dinner: I’m not quite sure yet what we are going to have for dinner this evening. Maybe some shrimp and fish?
After-Dinner: Protein shake.
