P90X Day 50 Completed: P90X Yoga X

Today is day 50 of my P90x workout, and I just completed Yoga X. I think Yoga X went really well today! I was very relaxed going into Yoga X, so I think that really helped with this workout. I made sure to do any major pending errands that I needed to do for the day prior to the workout so I wasn’t just thinking of them the whole time.

Doing all of the poses and the stretches actually felt really good today (especially since I missed X Stretch yesterday). I really tried to get deep into the poses and stretches and I worked at maintaining proper form. I also was able to hold the Crane for a good 10 seconds today! I really think I’m starting to get the hang of this pose. I think as my balance and strength improves, this pose will get easier and easier.

Tomorrow is Core Synergistics and even though it’s a tough P90X workout, I’m really looking forward to it. It has a great mixture of moves that gives you a good total body workout. I especially like the Lunge & Reach since it’s a move that you actually use when moving objects. Well I’m off to go enjoy the beautiful weather we are having today! The sun is shining and it’s about 60 degrees, which is warm for this time of the year!

Breakfast: Bowl of Fiber One cereal, and a protein shake.

Mid-Morning: Protein shake.

Lunch: Bowl of Campbells Steak & Potato soup.

Mid-Afternoon: Protein shake.

Dinner: I’m not sure yet what we’ll be having for dinner. Since it’s a pretty nice day, I may put some chicken on my grill outside.

After-Dinner: Protein shake.
