Looking for the P90X workout sheets? Then you’ve found what you need because on this page you’ll find the P90X workout sheets, P90X calendar and some tips and suggestions on how exactly to use them. When doing P90X I highly recommend that you use the P90X workout sheets to keep track of your reps, the weight you use, and to just take notes on any issues or problems that you have. This is CRITICAL to your success with P90X! This will help you to track your progress and to see where you’re going. It will also show you if you need to increase the weight of your dumbbells and how many reps you need to do to push yourself harder.
As Tony Horton likes to say,”With knowledge, comes power, and with power comes CHANGE!” So USE your P90X workout sheets during ALL of your workouts!Continue reading
I tend to get quite a bit of questions on the P90X Nutrition Guide so I figured it was about time that I put together a blog post on it. On this page I’ll let you know if it is really worth the time and effort to follow it, and I’ll go over some solutions if you lost your P90X Nutrition Guide, or your friend stole it, etc.
The very short and sweet answer to if you should follow the P90X Nutrition Guide is YES! Here’s the long and very blunt and honest answer…If you are TRULY serious about getting results with the P90X workout, then you MUST follow the P90X Nutrition guide or some other high protein, clean and healthy eating plan (I’ll go over a few P90X Nutrition Plan alternatives later in this post). Following a healthy eating plan is JUST as important as doing your daily P90X workouts.Continue reading
Power 90 vs P90X! I get a lot of questions from people asking me which program is better and what program they should start with. I’ll first get the “which program is better” question out of the way. When it comes to Power 90 vs P90X I don’t think either one is better than the other. They are both awesome fitness programs done by the same fitness trainer, Tony Horton. The important question that you should be concerned with and that really matters in the Power 90 vs P90X debate is which program should YOU do.
I’m first going to go into an overview of each fitness program, and then I’ll give you 3 simple questions to ask yourself that will help you determine which program is right for you.Continue reading
If you’re doing the P90X workout, you’ve probably heard Tony Horton say during Kenpo X to “check your heart to see if your in the zone” or something similar to that. During the below video, I’m going to show you exactly how to calculate your different target heart rate zones that you are going to want to work towards hitting during your workouts. These target heart rate zones aren’t just for P90X, they are for Insanity, or any other workout you’re doing.
It’s very important that you know your zone. By knowing your target heart rate zones, you’ll know if you’re at an intensity level that will give you the best possible results. You’ll also know if you’re pushing yourself too hard. Check out the video now!Continue reading
I’ve gotten some questions on how to use the P90X excel spreadsheet so I decided I’d make a video to show everyone the basics of getting it setup. I don’t personally use this spreadsheet, but a lot of people do and they love using it to help keep them on the right path and to track their progress with the P90X workout. Check out the video below, and then make sure to sign up for a free Beachbody account if you haven’t done so already to have me as your personal success coach!
Are you about to start the P90X workout and you’re not sure what workouts your need to do each day during the P90X Lean schedule? Then I’ve got you covered! ;-) I made another video that will give you a clear explanation of the P90X Lean workout schedule so you know exactly what DVD you should pop in each day.
