N.O. Xplode Review
I wanted to give everyone an unbiased, no BS, N.O. Xplode review. I used N.O.-Xplode 2.0 for a couple of weeks (only on my P90X resistance days) prior to this “N.O. Xplode review” and actually had pretty decent results. HOWEVER, the last time I used it I got horrible results…
I used 2 scoops of N.O. Xplode (like I had been using before), and about 30 or so minutes into my P90X workout I started to get nauseous and I ended up running to the bathroom, hunching over the toilet and throwing up. The nausea continued, and I ended up having to stop my workout for the day which was very, very frustrating.
Despite all of that, I really want to like N.O. Xplode with the results I’ve heard other people having (and with my prior positive experiences). So I decided to give N.O. Xplode another try and to give you a N.O. Xplode review, and let you know the results.
I’ve been experimenting with different pre-workout supplements and trying to find what works best for me. I don’t plan on using a pre-workout supplement for the long term, but I will use them to help give me an edge when I go on my mission to become the hulk during P90X2.
Aight, so enough chit chat, let’s get into the N.O. Xplode review…
N.O. Xplode Review Video
As I mentioned in the video, for this N.O. Xplode review, I took 1 scoop (to be safe so hopefully I don’t end up barfing and ruining my workout) about 15 minutes prior to my workout, which was P90X Chest and Back. I find that these pre-workout supplements usually start acting pretty quickly with my body. You may need to give yourself 30 to 45 minutes after drinking N.O. Xplode to start your workout like the instructions recommend.
For those of you who prefer to read instead of watching my N.O. Xplode review video, I’m going to give you a quick breakdown of my N.O. Xplode review, and then give you the final verdict at the end.
Taste – N.O. Xplode Review
NO Explode is the best tasting pre-workout supplement that I’ve tried (I think I’ve had 5 or 6 different pre-workout supplements). Most pre-workout supplements taste disgusting and you literally have to take it down like a shot.
For this N.O. Xplode review I had the Watermelon flavor. I’ve also tried the Fruit Punch flavor, but I definitely prefer the Watermelon flavor. They both taste good compared to all the other pre-workout supplements that I’ve had. It’s not something I would sip on and enjoy like a fine wine, but compared to other pre-workout supplements, N.O. Xplode tastes the best.
Performance Increase, Decrease, Or No Change? – N.O. Xplode Review
As I mentioned in my N.O. Xplode review video, for the most part I had no change in the number of reps I did compared to the last time I did this workout. While I did see some improvement during some exercises (and I did up my weight in my weighted vest by a measly 3 pounds), overall there weren’t any major changes to be excited about.
I didn’t feel a rush of energy like I have with other pre-workout supplements, and no big performance boost. That could have something to do with me only having 1 scoop, but I didn’t want to risk ruining my workout and getting sick like I did the last time I tried it. So overall, I was pretty disappointed by the lack of performance, and energy increase with N.O. Xplode.
Side Effects – Nausea, Energy Crash, Etc. – N.O. Xplode Review
This time around with only 1 scoop of N.O. Xplode 2.0, I didn’t have any nausea, and I didn’t have an energy crash later in the day. However, when I’ve used 2 scoops in the past, I would have a pretty major energy crash later in the day with N.O. Xplode. I remember going to dinner with my wife and I was just totally out of it and felt like a zombie. After a few weeks of using N.O. Xplode (and using 2 scoops) it did seem like I was getting used to it and the energy crash wasn’t as bad.
Where Did I Buy My N.O. Xplode 2.0? – N.O. Xplode Review
I bought my NO Xplode BSN from bodybuilding.com for I think around $35 plus shipping. That comes with 50 servings, so if you’re using 2 scoops a day, that’s a 25 day supply.
I have heard though that if you use a pre-workout supplement daily like N.O. Xplode, then with time you get used to it and have to use more scoops to feel any effects. Since I’m only using a pre-workout on my resistance days during P90X (3 days a week), I haven’t had that problem so far. However, that is something to take into account price wise.
My Final Recommendation – N.O. Xplode Review
With all pre-workout supplements, you’ll find that you’ll react differently to them when compared to other people. One pre-workout supplement that works great for me, might cause you to throw up everywhere. That usually doesn’t mean it’s not a good product (unless the majority of people using it are having bad side effects), but just shows you how differently people will react to products like this (which are stimulants). So, with that being said, I put together a rating scale that you can check out below, and you can see my final N.O. Xplode Review rating below.
TREK2BEFIT Rating Scale (1 to 10)
- 1= Don’t waste your money
- 5= You’ll just have to see if it works for you
- 10= You have to buy this supplement
N.O. Xplode Review- Final Rating: 5 out of 10
For me personally, N.O. Xplode isn’t going to be my pre-workout supplement of choice. However, it might work really well for you, so that’s why I give it a 5 for my final N.O. Xplode review rating. If you do decide to try N.O. Xplode, make sure to order a small trial size so you can see how it works for you.
