P90X2 Workouts

With the official release of P90X2, I wanted to put together a post on the P90X2 workouts so you can have an idea of what to expect when you get your copy of P90X2. I’m am so FIRED up for this program and I can’t wait to get my hands on it.

So without further ado, below are the P90X2 workouts that come with the next P90X2. Also, below the list of workouts I posted video previews of the P90X2 workouts for your enjoyment!

P90X2 Workouts – Base Package

When you order the P90X2 Base package you’re going to get the following twelve P90X2 workouts

  • X2 Core – This P90X2 workout is going to work your core through instability. This workout will help improve your performance with ALL the other P90X2 workouts.
  • Plyocide – This is P90X Plyometrics on steroids! :-) There will be quick movements that are combined with drills that will work your coordination/mind to help with your endurance and speed.
  • X2 Recovery + Mobility – This is obviously the recovery workout where you’ll use the foam roller to help you get the most out of the stretching.
  • X2 Total Body – This is a total body workout that will help you to utilize proper form and focus on using the correct muscles so that you’re better prepared for the instability and resistance moves.
  • X2 Yoga – This is obviously the Yoga portion of P90X2. It will help to increase your range of motion and to build up your stabilizer muscles (which will in turn help you with all the P90X2 workouts).
  • X2 Balance + Power – This workout will consist of explosive movements as well as strength movements to help increase your balance.
  • Chest + Back + Balance – This workout will focus on your chest and back muscles. You’ll be doing a lot of moves on very unstable platforms.
  • X2 Shoulders + Arms – This P90X2 workout will focus on your shoulders and arms similar to the original P90X (except it will be X times 2).
  • Base + Back – Will work your 2 largest muscle groups, your legs and back. It will be a combination of pull ups, and plyometric moves.
  • P.A.P. Lower – Will work your lower body while utilizing Post Activation Potentiation training.
  • P.A.P. Upper – Will work your upper body while utilizing Post Activation Potentiation training.
  • X2 Ab Ripper – An even more extreme version of Ab Ripper X!

  • V Sculpt – This workout will focus around your back & biceps.
  • X2 Chest + Shoulders + Triceps – Will workout your chest, shoulders, & triceps with moves that will utilize instability to push your muscles to their limits.
