I re-took my pictures and my measurements today so I could see the progress I’m making with the P90X workout. I’m very happy with the results I’ve seen so far! When looking at the pictures below, it definitely looks like I’m even more toned when compared to my P90X Day 26 pictures. My chest and my abs seem to look a lot more defined too.
Today is day 56 of my P90X workout, and it was X Stretch or a Rest Day. Since I’m still feeling pretty crappy, I decided I would just use today as a rest day so hopefully I’ll be energized and ready to start Phase 3 tomorrow!

P90X Yoga X Wheel
I just finished my P90X workout for the day, Yoga X. Today I actually felt worse than yesterday (sore throat, headache, stuffy nose, etc.), but I still managed to get Yoga X knocked out. I ended up doing Yoga X in the evening so I could do it with my wife. I figured she would keep me going if I tried to wimp out from feeling bad.

P90X Leaning Crescent Lunges
Today is day 54 of my P90X workout, and I just completed Core Synergistics. The workout actually didn’t go as well as I had hoped! I had planned on increasing my weight to 15 pounds for all of the exercises, but I didn’t even get past the Leaning Crescent Lunges doing that. Tony Horton recommends using light weight during that exercise anyways (no more than 10 pounds), so I guess I should have listened to him! I did maybe five or so lunges with the 15 pound dumbbells, and I had to pause the P90X DVD and reduce the weight. I then just started the exercise over from the beginning with the 10 pound dumbbells. After that exercise, I decided to continue using the 10 pounds dumbbells for the remaining exercises that used weight.

P90X X Stretch Back Up The Car
For some reason I had in my head that today was Core Synergistics! I had the Core Synergistics workout in my DVD player with the TV on, my dumbbells setup, and everything else ready to go! I then just so happened to look at my P90X workout calendar before I was about to start and I saw that today was X Stretch! I was actually a little disappointed because I was in the mindset that today was Core and I was ready to bring it! O well, I’ll just have to wait for tomorrow to do Core Synergistics!

NordicTrack Wrist Weights (from Sears)
Today is day 52 of my P90X workout and I just finished Kenpo X. I finally found some weighted gloves that I thought were going to be good for Kenpo X, but it didn’t turn out so well. I ended up going to Dick’s Sporting Goods last night and I found a good pair, but each wrist weight was only 1.5 pounds. I wanted to see if could find a heavier pair, so I then went to Sears and I found a pair that were 3 pounds each. I figured those would be much more effective than the 1.5 pound weights so I bought them (they are the NordicTrack 3 lb. Thumblock Wrist Weights).
