Today is day 68 of my P90X workout, and I just finished Legs and Back, and Ab Ripper X! I did my workout a lot earlier today than usual. This afternoon and through the evening my schedule is pretty packed! I figured I’d knock my workout out after breakfast so I don’t have to worry about doing it late in the evening. It actually felt really good getting it done early! I was worried that I’d be tired and not very motivated since it was so early, but I had a lot more energy that I thought I’d have. I’d love to continue doing my workouts in the morning, but I’m not a morning person at all, so I’m not sure how long it’d last.

P90X Yoga X Half Moon
Today is day 67 of my P90X workout, and I just finished an intense but very relaxing session of Yoga X. I did my usual routine of trying to shut off the world around me as much as possible, and I also used an envelope that I cut in half to hide the timer on my television screen (just like P90X day 60). Doing that really helped me again to not focus on how much time is left, and I didn’t find myself getting anxious for the workout to be over with. I’m definitely going to keep doing that for Yoga X, and for any other workouts if I’m feeling stressed or anxious to get through the workout.
WOW!!! The Back & Biceps P90X workout killed me! I just finished the workout, and my biceps and back are already starting to feel sore! I really enjoy this workout and I was expecting to make huge gains (I was probably a little over optimistic), but I ended up struggling to pump out the same number of reps as I did on P90X day 45. I guess that is to be expected though since I haven’t done this workout in over 2 weeks. This last Phase of P90X is all about muscle confusion and maximizing your results.

P90X Plyometrics
Today is day 65 of my P90X workout, and I’m exhausted from Plyometrics! My legs were burning throughout the workout (from all the squats), and I was dripping in sweat! I think I got a great cardio workout from Plyometrics today!

P90X One Arm Push Ups
It is day 64 of my P90X workout and I just completed Chest, Shoulders & Triceps, & Ab Ripper X! It felt great to do my workout today especially after all the crap I ate this weekend during my Coast Guard drills! Today I made sure to take in plenty of calories prior to my workout to prevent a repeat of P90X day 36 (which is the last time I had my Coast Guard drills and when I totally crashed from a lack of energy).
Well, today is day 63 of my P90X workout and it ended up being a rest day for me! I was hoping that maybe this would be the weekend that they serve somewhat healthy food during my Coast Guard drills, but so far it’s been exactly like P90X day 35.
