P90X Plyometrics Run Squat 180 Jump Switch

Today is day 72 of my P90X workout, and I just finished an exhausting session of P90X Plyometrics!  I was extremely frustrated and stressed out from some work related things going on prior to doing Plyometrics. Going into my workout I decided I was going to channel that negative energy into my workout. I did exactly that and I think I did the best I’ve ever done with Plyometrics! I was struggling to catch my breath throughout the workout and I don’t think that I’ve ever sweated as much as I did today during the workout!

P90X Day 71 Completed: Chest and Back, Ab Ripper X

I just finished my P90X workout for the day, Chest and Back & Ab Ripper X! Since this was the last time I’ll be doing Chest Back for awhile (at least until Round 2 of P90X :-) ) I wanted to make sure to “bring it” and to give it my all. I did exactly that and I pushed myself until I literally couldn’t push myself off the ground any more! I know I’ll be feeling sore from this workout for several days!

P90X Day 70 Completed: Rest or X Stretch

Ahhhhhhh! I just finished a nice and relaxing session of X Stretch! It felt great to stretch out all of my muscles! Prior to starting the P90X workout I really hated stretching and I usually did very little stretching before working out. I hated it because I’ve always been very inflexible. Since I’ve been doing pretty much daily stretches with P90X I’ve gotten 100% better at it, which has made it more enjoyable. After doing a week of hardcore workouts, it feels great to end the week with a nice stretching session!

P90X Day 69 Completed: P90X Kenpo X

P90X Kenpo X: X Time

P90X Kenpo X: X Time

I just finished day 69 of my P90X workout! I had to do Kenpo X today, and I really had a fun time kicking, punching, jabbing, and blocking! I got a great cardio workout, and I was sweating like crazy. My back and legs are a little sore from yesterday so that made some of the moves somewhat painful, but that didn’t stop me from getting a great workout!

P90X Day 68 Completed: Legs and Back, Ab Ripper X

Today is day 68 of my P90X workout, and I just finished Legs and Back, and Ab Ripper X! I did my workout a lot earlier today than usual. This afternoon and through the evening my schedule is pretty packed! I figured I’d knock my workout out after breakfast so I don’t have to worry about doing it late in the evening. It actually felt really good getting it done early! I was worried that I’d be tired and not very motivated since it was so early, but I had a lot more energy that I thought I’d have. I’d love to continue doing my workouts in the morning, but I’m not a morning person at all, so I’m not sure how long it’d last.

P90X Day 67 Completed: P90X Yoga X

P90X Yoga X Half Moon

P90X Yoga X Half Moon

Today is day 67 of my P90X workout, and I just finished an intense but very relaxing session of Yoga X. I did my usual routine of trying to shut off the world around me as much as possible, and I also used an envelope that I cut in half to hide the timer on my television screen (just like P90X day 60). Doing that really helped me again to not focus on how much time is left, and I didn’t find myself getting anxious for the workout to be over with. I’m definitely going to keep doing that for Yoga X, and for any other workouts if I’m feeling stressed or anxious to get through the workout.
